Gibson will start Monday vs. the Blues.

Gibson allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Ducks loss in Nashville last Thursday. Ryan Miller started on Friday, so Gibson will draw back between the pipes tonight vs. the Blues. The 24-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .957 SV% in his first two starts against St. Louis this season.

John Gibson
Versteeg (hip) was a full participant in Monday’s practice.

Versteeg practiced with the Flames AHL affiliate during their road-trip but was back on the ice with the Flames on Monday. It was his first full practice since hip surgery in late-November. Versteeg skated on the third line and could return to the lineup Tuesday vs. the Oilers.

Kris Versteeg
Tkachuk (undisclosed) missed Monday’s practice.

Tkachuk was hurt late in Sunday’s game vs. the Islanders following a collision with Mathew Barzal and his absence from Monday’s practice makes him questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. the Oilers. Before panicking, check on Tkachuk’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate .

Matthew Tkachuk
The Blues have recalled Ville Husson from San Antonio (AHL).

Husso was Jake Allen’s backup on Saturday but went down to get a start with San Antonio, where he posted a 21-save shutout on Sunday, and he returns to backup Allen tonight in Anaheim. Husso’s recall means that Carter Hutton still is not ready to go.

Ville Husso
Allen will start Monday in Anaheim.

Allen allowed two goals on 40 shots in the Blues blowout win in Los Angeles on Saturday. Allen has really turned his game around in his last two starts, stopping 72 of the last 75 shots (.960 SV%) that he has faced. Tonight he faces the Ducks for the third time this season—he is 0-2-0 with a 3.10 GAA and .875 SV% in the first two meetings.

Jake Allen
Mason will miss 2-3 weeks after having his knee scoped.

Mason posted a 31-save shutout after retuning from a concussion and immediately suffered a knee injury in the next practice and will be out until at least late-March. With Mason out, Michael Hutchinson will continue to see time as the Jets’ No.2 netidner.

Steve Mason
Matthews (shoulder) will not play on Wednesday.

Matthews was once again on the ice on Monday, but he has already been ruled out for Wednesday’s game vs. Dallas. However, head coach Mike Babcock said that he could “become an option to get back in at some point after that.” If he isn’t playing Wednesday vs. the Stars it seems unlikely that he will play in Buffalo on Thursday, but Saturday’s game vs. Montreal seems like a possibility.

Auston Matthews
Fleury will start Monday in Philadelphia.

Fleury allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Golden Knights shootout win in Buffalo on Saturday. Vegas will wrap-up a five-game road-trip tonight in Philadelphia and Fleury has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA, .948 SV% and one shutout in the first four games of the trip. In his first start vs. the Flyers, Fleury allowed three goals on 17 shots in a 4-1 loss in mid-February.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Fleury is expected to start Monday in Philadelphia.

In his first start vs. the Flyers, Fleury allowed three goals on 17 shots in a 4-1 loss in mid-February.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Enstrom (undisclosed) will not play Monday but could return on Tuesday.

Enstrom will not play for the sixth time in seven games, but he is improving and could return tomorrow in Nashville. Expect Enstrom to be a game-time decision vs. the Predators because the Jets likely won’t hold a gameday skate.

Tobias Enstrom
Scheifele (upper-body) will miss at least the next two games.

Scheifele will miss his third and fourth consecutive games as he’s been ruled out for the remainder of the Jets’ road-trip. Scheifele was on the ice with a no-contact sweater on Monday, which suggests he could be ready when the Jets return home vs. Chicago on Thursday.

Mark Scheifele
Georgiev will start Monday vs. the Hurricanes.

Georgiev allowed one goal on 14 shots after replacing Henrik Lundqvist in the Rangers loss in Tampa Bay last Thursday. Georgiev has posted a 2.65 GAA and .930 SV% in four games since being recalled from Hartford (AHL) and tonight he will make his fourth start of the year. Tonight he faces a Hurricanes team that has lost eight of their last 11 (3-6-2).

Alexandar Georgiev
Zacha (upper-body) will remain in New Jersey during the start of the Devils’ road-trip.

Zacha missed the last two games with an upper-body injury and will miss at least a few more games. Zacha won’t travel during the start of the road-trip, but could join the team at some point during the trip. Brian Gibbons will likely remain at centre while Zacha is sidelined.

Pavel Zacha
Zajac (undisclosed) will travel on the Devils’ west coast road-trip.

Zajac missed Saturday’s game in Nashville after suffering a lower-body vs. the Jets last Thursday. Travelling out west means there’s a chance that Zajac will play this week (Wed. in Vegas, Sat. in L.A. or Sun. in Anaheim). Monitor the centre’s status as the week progresses.

Travis Zajac
Luongo will start Monday vs. the Senators.

Luongo allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Panthers win over the Rangers on Saturday. Luongo has been unreal as of late, going 8-1-1 with a 2.36 GAA, .933 SV% and one shutout in his last 10 games. Luongo will look to stay red-hot against a bad Senators team at the BB&T Center—Bobby Lu is 10-2-1 with a 2.50 GAA and .934 SV% on home-ice this year.

Roberto Luongo
Hutchinson will likely start Tuesday in Nashville.

Hutchinson allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Jets win in Dallas on February 24th. With Steve Mason out with 2-3 weeks with a knee injury, Hutchinson is back up with the Jets and is expected to start tonight in Nashville. The 28-year-old has gone 2-0-0 while stopping 56 of 60 shots (.933 SV%) in his only two NHL starts this season.
