Darling will start against the Red Wings on Saturday.

Darling was lit up for five goals on just 22 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Devils on February 15th. After three straight losses with Cam Ward as the backstop, the Hurricanes opt to go back to the struggling Darling tonight. He brings a 10-15-6 record and a .891 SV% into tonight’s matchup against the Red Wings.

Scott Darling
Lehner will start against the Capitals on Saturday.

Lehner stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced in the Sabres’ 3-2 victory over the Wings on Thursday. It was a strong outing for Lehner, whose fantasy stock could be on the rise should he be moved ahead of Monday’s trade deadline. He draws a brutal matchup tonight in Washington.

Robin Lehner
Hutchinson will start Saturday against the Stars.

Hutchinson will make just his second start of the season on Saturday. He stopped 23 of 24 shots in his lone appearance this year in a 3-1 victory over the Jets on January 30th. He went out with a concussion shortly after being recalled to replace the injured Steve Mason as the Jets’ backup. He draws what should be a challenging matchup tonight against the stars.

Michael Hutchinson
Gillies will start against the Avalanche on Saturday.

In his first start of the season, Gillies stopped 35 of 37 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Coyotes on Thursday. With David Rittich struggling in the absence of Mike Smith, the Flames will opt to go back to the hot-hand on Saturday in Gillies. He draws another strong matchup this afternoon against the Avalanche.

Jon Gillies
Varlamov will start against the Flames on Saturday.

Varlamov turned in an admirable performance on Thursday, stopping 43 of the 46 shots he faced in a losing effort against the Oilers. With Jonathan Bernier (concussion) sidelined without a timetable for his return, Varlamov should get nearly all of the starts for the Avalanche in the foreseeable future. He has a tough matchup this afternoon in Calgary.

Semyon Varlamov
Mrazek is expected to start on Saturday afternoon in Ottawa.

Mrazek stopped 19 of 20 shots in his Flyers debut on Thursday, en route to a 2-1 victory over Columbus. After a terrible start to the season Mrazek has now raised his SV% to a respectable .911 across 23 appearances for Detroit and Philadelphia. He’ll look to go two for two in a Flyers uniform in a strong matinee matchup in Ottawa on Saturday.

Petr Mrazek
Miller will start against the Coyotes on Saturday.

Miller turned in a phenomenal performance on Wednesday, stopping all 41 shots he faced in a 2-0 victory over the Stars. John Gibson (lower-body) has found himself back on injured reserve again, opening the door for Miller in the interim. He has a great matchup tonight against the Coyotes.
