Holtby is in the starter's crease at the Capitals morning skate.

Holtby allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Capitals loss in Florida last Thursday. He was given Saturday night off, so it’s no surprise that he will start tonight in Columbus. He comes in ice-cold though, as he’s lost five in a row with a 4.70 GAA and .861 SV%. However, the 28-year-old is undefeated in three games against the Blue Jackets this season with 2.34 GAA and .937 SV%.

Braden Holtby
Versteeg (hip) will have a follow-up with his surgeon on Tuesday.

Versteeg has been out since November 24th after undergoing hip surgery. There was no timetable on his return at the time, so his meeting with his surgeon tomorrow will provide a bit more clarity on when he’ll be back.

The Predators have officially signed Mike Fisher to a one-year deal worth $1 million.

Fisher announced that he would be coming out of retirement at the end of January, practiced for the first time on February 12th and officially signed his deal today. The 37-year-old is coming back to one of the best teams in the NHL and will get a shot at winning a Stanley Cup. Fisher had 18 goals and 24 assists (42 points) in 72 games last season, but had just four assists in 20 playoff games.

Mike Fisher
Vasilevskiy will start Monday vs. the Maple Leafs.

Vasilevskiy allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Lightning’s win in Montreal on Saturday. Vasilevskiy has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.48 GAA and .926 SV%. Andrei Vasilevskiy
Lindgren is in the starter's crease at the Canadiens' morning skate.

Lindgren was recalled with Carey Price going on IR but backed up Antti Niemi for the first few games, but will get the cage tonight vs. the Flyers. He went 3-4-1 with a 2.43 GAA, .924 SV% and one shutout in eight starts with the Canadiens earlier this season. The 24-year-old was 8-14-1 with a 3.18 GAA and .891 SV% in 30 starts with Laval (AHL).

Charlie Lindgren
Trouba (ankle) returned to the ice on Monday.

Trouba has been out since January 25th and appears to be on target for his original mid-March timeline. Trouba has picked up three goals and 17 assists (20 points) in 50 games before getting hurt and will be a huge boost for a Jets team with Stanley Cup aspirations.

Jacob Trouba
Mrazek is expected to start Monday in Montreal.

Mrazek allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Flyers win in Ottawa on Saturday. He has won his first two starts since being traded to the Flyers, while turning aside 44 of 48 shots (.917 SV%). He will look to go 3-for-3 tonight vs. a Montreal team that is without Carey Price and has lost seven of their last eight (1-4-3).

The Senators have acquired Nick Moutrey and a 2020 3rd Round Pick from the Blue Jackets for Ian Cole.

Nick Moutrey
The Blue Jackets have acquired Ian Cole from the Senators for Nick Moutrey and a 2020 3rd Round Pick.

Cole was acquired in the Derick Brassard trade but was always expected to be flipped before the trade deadline. The 29-year-old can help on the offensive end and should slot in as a third-pairing defenseman with Columbus. He had 13 points (3G / 10A) in 47 games with the Penguins before his first trade.

Ian Cole
Neal (illness) is questionable for Monday’s game in Los Angeles.

Neal has missed the last three games with an illness, but head coach Gerard Gallant said that Neal has had a couple of good skates so they’ll see where he’s at on Monday. Neal has been a horse for the Golden Knights this season, picking up 24 goals and 15 assists (39 points) in 58 games.

James Neal
