Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Blue Jackets shootout loss to Minnesota on Tuesday. Bobrovsky bounced back from a difficult December to finish 4-4-1 with a 2.30 GAA and .932 SV% in nine January starts. He will look to keep things rolling into February, starting tonight with the Sharks, who are in town as losers of four in a row.

Condon will start Sunday in Montreal.

White will play on the Senators top line on Saturday.
White has yet to record a point in eight games with the Senators this season but with Bobby Ryan out for at least the next two games, White will move to the top line. The 2015 first round pick had eight goals and nine assists (17 points) in 32 games in Belleville (AHL) when he was called up.
Ryan (hand) will miss at least the next two games.
Ryan suffered yet another hand injury on Thursday and will miss both of the Senators games this weekend. Ryan will see a specialist and could be out for longer than just this weekend. Colin White will move up and play in Ryan’s spot.
Bishop (face) will not be available on Saturday.
Bishop was hit in the face by a puck on the bench during Thursday’s game and won’t play Saturday. Bishop doesn’t have a concussion but they need to wait for some swelling to come down. A goalie will be recalled to backup Kari Lehtonen on Saturday.

The Oilers have returned Laurent Brossoit to Bakersfield (AHL).
Brossoit backed up Al Montoya on Thursday but with Cam Talbot ready to go this weekend, Brossoit returns to Bakersfield where he is 3-3-1 with a 2.65 GAA and .916 SV% since being sent down.
The Penguins have activated Carter Rowney (upper-body) from IR.
Rowney was officially listed as a game-time decision this morning but activating him from IR opens up the door for him to return tonight. Jean-Sebastian Dea was sent to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) to open up a roster spot for him.

In the 2023-24 season, there were a total of 14 suspensions and 17 fines issued throughout the NHL. The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
