Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Jets in the Jets win in San Jose on Tuesday. Hellebuyck has won his last three starts while stopping 88 of the last 93 shots (.946 SV%) that he has faced. In his first start against the Ducks, Hellebuyck stopped 30 of 31 shots in a 4-1 win in late-November.

Andersen allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Avalanche on Monday. The Maple Leafs have struggled recently and Andersen comes into Wednesday at 3-3-3 with a 2.63 GAA and .919 SV% on the road this season. Andersen stopped 18 of 21 shots in a 4-3 OT win in his first start vs. the Blackhawks.

Bishop turned aside 33 of 34 shots in the Stars win over the Panthers on Tuesday. Bishop has gone 4-1-1 with a 1.82 GAA and .938 SV% in his last six starts. Tonight he will face the Maple Leafs who are on the tail-end of a back-to-back. Bishop has gone 16-5-1 with a 1.97 GAA and .934 SV% in 22 starts on home-ice this season.

Thornton suffered the injury during overtime on Tuesday and will miss “several weeks.” Thornton recently had left knee surgery, so luckily he avoided an injury to that same knee but it sounds like he will be out until at least mid-February.

Poolman, 24, has one goal in 13 games with the Jets and six points (1G / 5A) in 13 games with the Moose. There’s no word if he will draw into the lineup in Anaheim on Thursday.

Matthias has missed the last four games and was moved on IR this afternoon to open up a roster spot for Tucker Poolman to be recalled from Manitoba (AHL).

Smith allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Flames loss to the Sabres on Monday. Smith has gone 5-0-2 with a 1.68 GAA and .949 SV% in seven January starts. Tonight he will face the Kings for the second time this season—he is 2-0-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .921 SV% in the first two meetings of the season.

Dansk has been sidelined since October 30th and was 3-0-0 with a 1.78 GAA, .946 SV% and one shutout in four appearances with the Golden Knights. With Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban both healthy, Dansk will get playing time in Chicago. He allowed six goals on 36 shots in his first game with the Wolves.

Jonathan Quick was pulled after he allowed five goals on 19 shots in last night’s 6-2 loss to the Canucks. Darcy Kuemper stopped 15 of 16 shots in relief but the Kings’ starter for Wednesday’s game will not be known until they hit the ice for warmups at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Rittich allowed two goals on 43 shots in the Flames win in Florida on January 12th. The Flames have a back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday so look for Rittich to start the front-end tonight vs. the Kings. Rittich is 3-0-1 with a 1.71 GAA and .946 SV%. He is an interesting spot-start option for fantasy owners in need.

Thornton suffered an apparent knee injury in overtime on Tuesday and an MRI is expected to reveal the nature of the injury this morning. Expect an update on Thornton’s status at some point this afternoon.

Forbort played just 10:26 TOI before heading down the tunnel for the rest of the game. Forbort has logged over 21 minutes per game this season so his loss will be felt but it could allow prospect Paul LaDue to get into some games.

Raffl played just 10:09 TOI before leaving the Flyers overtime win in Detroit. The Flyers did not have an update on Raffl post-game, but they said that he will be re-evaluated on Wednesday. Consider him questionable for Thursday’s game.

Reimer was hurt while trying to make a save early in the first period of the Panthers loss to the Stars. The Panthers are already without Roberto Luongo, so if Reimer is going to miss any time the Panthers will turn to Harri Sateri for the time being.

Johansson took what looked to be a purposeful elbow to the head from Brad Marchand in the third period and had to be attended to by the training staff. Johansson did not return to the game and Marchand will have a hearing for the incident. Johansson likely won’t be available for Thursday’s game but could be ready after the All-Star break.

After allowing three goals on 20 shots in the first two periods, Ken Appleby replace Schneider for the third period of Tuesday’s loss to the Bruins. The Devils are already without Keith Kinkaid (groin) so if Schneider is unavailable for Thursday’s game then look for Appleby to start.

Gerbe has been playing in Switzerland for the last two seasons, picking up 13 goals and 22 assists (35 points) in 45 games. Gerbe will be placed on waivers to be sent to Cleveland (AHL). The diminutive forward has 138 points (58G / 80A) in 394 career NHL games with the Sabres and Hurricanes.

Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings win over the Rangers on Sunday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Quick, who will make his 39th start of the season tonight in Vancouver. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.04 GAA and .885 SV% in his first two starts against the Canucks this season.
