Niemi allowed one goal on four shots in his Canadiens debut after he replacing Charlie Lindgren in Saturday’s loss to Toronto. With Lindgren starting last night and Carey Price still hurt, it looks like Niemi may make his first start with Montreal tonight. He has been absolutely dreadful in his six appearances this season (6.67 GAA / .820 SV%).

Bishop allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Stars win over the Canadiens last night. With Kari Lehtonen (personal) out, Bishop will start for the second straight evening. Bishop has won two straight and has stopped 47 of 48 shots (.979 SV%). He makes for a solid option tonight even on zero rest.

Quick was pulled after he allowed three goals on nine shots in the Kings loss in Vegas soon Sunday. It was a disappointing start for Quick, who has now lost five straight starts while allowing a combined 15 goals on 142 shots (.894 SV%). His recent struggles combined with his difficult matchup tonight make him an average starting option.

Dubnyk allowed four goals on 25 shots in the Wild’s loss to New Jersey on Monday. The loss snapped a four-game losing streak for Dubnyk, who will make his 17th appearance of the season tonight. The 31-year-old has been better as of late, but comes in at 3-4-0 with a 2.58 GAA and .921 SV% on the road this season.

Rinne allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Predators win over the Jets on Monday. Rinne has won six of his last seven starts while posting a 2.98 GAA and .910 SV%. The veteran has been great on home ice, going 7-0-1 with a 2.58 GAA and .912 SV% this season.

Gibson stopped 50 of 52 shots in the Ducks’ win over the Panthers on Sunday. Because of the busy evening, Reto Berra started on Monday, so the Ducks will come back to Gibson tonight vs. Vegas. Gibson has gone 2-1-0 while stopping 125 of 131 shots (.954 SV%).
