Johnson (lower-body) will not play on Saturday.

Johnson suffered a lower-body injury on Thursday and is listed as day-to-day and will miss tonight’s game vs. Florida. The Lightning will also be without Vladislav Namestnikov and Cedric Paquette, so expect them to go with 11 forwards and seven defenseman.

Tyler Johnson
Mason will start Saturday afternoon in Boston.

Mason gave up three goals on 34 shots in the Flyers’ win in Buffalo on Tuesday. Michal Neuvirt gave him the night off, but Mason starts this afternoon having won three of his last four with a 1.45 GAA, .954 SV% and one shutout. He made 45 saves in a shootout win in his only start vs. the Bruins.

Steve Mason
The Flames recalled Rasmus Andersson from Stockton (AHL).

Andersson, 20, was a second round pick (No.53 overall) in 2015 and has earned his first NHL call-up. Andersson has recorded three goals and 19 assists (22 points) in 50 AHL games this season. He could make his NHL debut on Saturday with Dougie Hamilton and Michael Stone listed as questionable.

Stone (upper-body) is questionable for Saturday’s game in Winnipeg.

Stone and Dougie Hamilton are battling injuries on the Flames’ blueline and had coach Glen Gulutzan said he hopes one of them “will play tomorrow” and the other “will play soon.” There is no word which one is closer, but expect an update after the team’s morning skate on Saturday.

Matthew Peca
Lundqvist will miss 2-3 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Henrik Lundqvist
Bobrovsky will start Friday vs. the Sabres.

Bobrovsky stopped all 33 shots that he faced in the Blue Jackets’ shutout win over the Devils on Tuesday. Bobrovsky has pitched three straight shutouts, stopping all 91 shots that he has faced.
