The NHL has suspended Brandon Manning for two game.

Manning was suspended for two games for his hit on Penguins’ forward Jake Guentzel in their outdoor game in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Manning will miss Tuesday’s game vs. the Avalanche and Thursday’s game vs. the Panthers, before being eligible to play Saturday in Washington.

Montoya is expected to start Monday in New Jersey.

Montoya allowed three goals on 21 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to the Blues on February 11th. Montoya has made 12 starts on the road this season, going 6-4-2 with a 3.06 GAA and .898 SV%. In his first start in New Jersey, Montoya stopped 16 of 17 shots in an easy 3-1 victory.

Al Montoya
Schneider is expected to start Monday vs. the Canadiens.

Schneider allowed four goals on 40 shots in the Devils’ loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Schneider has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined six goals on 63 shots (.905 SV%). Schneider has had a solid month and he’ll look to wrap it up on a good note with a win over the Canadiens tonight.

Cory Schneider
The Red Wings have recalled Jared Coreau from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Coreau was sent down for the Red Wings’ bye week and has been recalled because Jimmy Howard is not quite ready to resume playing. Look for Coreau to backup Petr Mrazek as the Red Wings start their road trip in Vancouver on Tuesday.

Jared Coreau
The Red Wings have recalled Drew Miller from Grand Rapids (AHL).

Miller has been with Grand Rapids for one month and recorded two goals and one assist (three points) in seven games. The Red Wings traded Tomas Jurco during their bye week, so Miller has been called-up to take the final roster spot. He had five goals and one assist (six points) in 35 games with the Red Wings.

Drew Miller
Parenteau (undisclosed) will not play Monday vs. the Canadiens.

Parenteau left Saturday’s game after blocking a shot and will not be available for tonight’s game with the Canadiens. Blake Coleman has been called up and will take his spot in the lineup.

P.A. Parenteau
The Devils have recalled Blake Coleman from Albany (AHL).

Coleman, 25, was a third round pick in 2011 (No.75 overall) and has one assist in five games with the Devils this season. He has spent the majority of the year in Albany, where he has 18 goals and 16 assists (34 points) in 49 games. Coleman will replace P.A. Parenteau in the lineup on Monday.

Blake Coleman
The Devils have placed Pavel Zacha (concussion) on IR.

Zacha will miss his second straight game with a concussion and was moved to IR on Monday to create a roster spot to call-up Blake Coleman from Albany (AHL). There’s no word when Zacha will be available to re-join the lineup.

Pavel Zacha
The Lightning have recalled Yanni Gourde from Syracuse (AHL).

Gourde, 25, has registered 20 goals and 23 assists (43 points) in 53 games with Syracuse this season—that ranks third on the team. There is no word whether or not he will be in the lineup on Monday. The Quebec native has failed to record a point in two NHL games this season.

Yanni Gourde
The Coyotes acquired Grayson Downing, 2017 first round pick, 2018 second round pick and a conditional fourth round pick from the Wild for Martin Hanzal, Ryan White and a 2017 fourth round pick.

Downing, 24, was an unrestricted free agent, who has collected seven goals and 15 assists (22 points) in 47 games with Iowa (AHL) this season. Downing will report to Tucson.

Grayson Downing
The Wild acquired Ryan White, Martin Hanzal and a 2017 fourth round pick from the Coyotes for Grayson Downing, 2017 first round pick, 2018 second round pick and a conditional fourth round pick.

The Wild have had a revolving door on their fourth line all season, but White could fill out the spot permanently going forward. The rugged winger has seven goals and eight assists in 46 games with the Coyotes.

Ryan White
The Wild acquired Martin Hanzal, Ryan White and a 2017 fourth round pick from the Coyotes for Grayson Downing, 2017 first round pick, 2018 second round pick and a conditional fourth round pick.

Hanzal is set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer and the Wild have added him in an attempt to go for it all this spring. Hanzal, who has 16 goals and 10 assists (26 points) in 51 games this season, joins a deep group of forwards in Minnesota. He should make his Wild debut on Monday and could skate on a line with Zach Parise.

Martin Hanzal
The Lightning acquired Erik Cernak, Peter Budaj, a 2017 seventh round pick and a conditional draft pick from the Kings for Ben Bishop and a 2017 fifth round pick.

Cernak, 19, was a second round pick (No. 43 overall) in 2015 and has scored three goals with 14 assists (17 points) in 41 games with the Erie Otters (OHL) this season.

Erik Cernak
The Lightning acquired Peter Budaj, Erik Cernak, a 2017 seventh round pick and a conditional draft pick from the Kings for Ben Bishop and a 2017 fifth round pick.

With Jonathan Quick missing the first four and a half months with a groin injury, Budaj filled in admirably as the Kings’ No.1. The veteran netminder went 27-20-3 with a 2.12 GAA and .917 SV% in 53 games while Quick was out, but heads to Tampa Bay where he will fight with Andrei Vasilevskiy for playing time in the Lightning’s crease.

Peter Budaj
The Kings acquired Ben Bishop and a 2017 fifth round pick from the Lightning for Peter Budaj, Erik Cernak, a 2017 seventh round pick and a conditional draft pick.

Bishop will be an unrestricted free agent this summer, so the Lightning moved him despite being in playoff contention. Bishop has had a bit of a down year, going 16-12-3 with a 2.55 GAA and .911 SV% in 32 games and heads to Los Angeles where he will likely split time with Jonathan Quick. Andrei Vasilevskiy takes over as the Lightning’s No.1 netminder following the trade.
