Lindgren was a second round pick of the Bruins (No.49 overall) in 2016 and has picked up seven points (2G / 5A) in 33 games in his second-year at the University of Minnesota.
Beleskey has an ugly contract, with two years remaining at a $3.8M AAV cap-hit. The Bruins will retain 50% of that contact but it remains to be seen if he will join the Rangers or the Wolf Pack. He had no points in 14 games with the Bruins before being placed on waivers and sent to Providence (AHL) were he had just four goals and two assists (six points) in 21 games.
Spooner had a breakout campaign in 2015-16, collecting 13 goals and 36 assists (49 points) in 80 games but has struggled since then, especially in 2017-18. The 26-year-old will look to get his career back on track in New York after picking up just 25 points (9G / 16A) in 39 games with the Bruins this season. He could make his Rangers debut on Sunday.
Nash, 33, has picked up 18 goals and 10 assists (28 points) in 60 games with the Rangers this season. Nash, who is in the final year of his eight-year contract, is expected to make his Bruins debut right away as he is en route to Buffalo for this afternoon’s game. The Rangers will retain 50% of Nash’s salary.
Blais appeared in just one game during his call-up before being a healthy scratch on Friday. Blais returns to the Rampage, where he has 11 goals and 17 assists (28 points) in 30 games.
Butler didn’t record a point while averaging just 7:21 TOI/GM in two games during his call-up. Jordan Schmaltz has been recalled to take his spot in Sunday’s lineup. The veteran returns to the Rampage where he has eight goals and 15 assists (23 points) in 48 games this season.
Schmaltz has no points in four games with the Blues this season but has picked up 23 points (5G / 18A) in 31 games with the Rampage. Schmaltz will take Chris Butler’s spot on the blueline and is expected to skate with Vince Dunn.
Thompson has split his time between the AHL and NHL this season, picking up three goals and three assists (six points) in 24 games with the Blues. During his time with the Rampage, the 20-year-old has 18 points (8G / 10A) in 30 contests. He is expected to play on Sunday afternoon, but there’s no word on who he will replace.
Soshnikov joined the Blues prior to Friday’s game after getting his visa worked out following his trade from Toronto to St. Louis on February 15th. The 24-year-old had no points in three games with the Maple Leafs but was close to a point per game with the Marlies, collecting 17 points (7G / 10A) in 19 contests. Soshnikov is expected to make his debut on a line with Alex Steen and Patrik Berglund.
Quick allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Kings loss to the Stars on Thursday. Quick has gone 2-2-0 in his last four starts despite allowing just six goals on 126 shots (.953 SV%). In his first start vs. the Oilers, Quick stopped all 32 shots he faced in a 5-0 shutout win.
Vasilevskiy turned away 35 of the 37 shots he faced in Tuesday’s 4-2 victory over the Capitals. He now boasts a remarkable 35-12-2 record on the year with a .928 SV% to boot. He draws another excellent matchup tonight against the Canadiens.
Howard was beat three times on 30 shots in a 3-2 loss to the Sabres on Thursday. He’s lost three straight starts with just an .879 SV% over that span. He’ll look to get back in the win column tonight with a favourable matchup against the Hurricanes.
Darling was lit up for five goals on just 22 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Devils on February 15th. After three straight losses with Cam Ward as the backstop, the Hurricanes opt to go back to the struggling Darling tonight. He brings a 10-15-6 record and a .891 SV% into tonight’s matchup against the Red Wings.
Jarry stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Penguins’ 5-2 victory over the Blue Jackets on Sunday. Jarry holds a 10-4-2 record with a .921 SV% across 19 appearances for the Penguins this season. He draws a decent matchup on the road tonight in Florida.
Lehner stopped 35 of the 37 shots he faced in the Sabres’ 3-2 victory over the Wings on Thursday. It was a strong outing for Lehner, whose fantasy stock could be on the rise should he be moved ahead of Monday’s trade deadline. He draws a brutal matchup tonight in Washington.
Hutchinson will make just his second start of the season on Saturday. He stopped 23 of 24 shots in his lone appearance this year in a 3-1 victory over the Jets on January 30th. He went out with a concussion shortly after being recalled to replace the injured Steve Mason as the Jets’ backup. He draws what should be a challenging matchup tonight against the stars.
In his first start of the season, Gillies stopped 35 of 37 shots in a 5-2 victory over the Coyotes on Thursday. With David Rittich struggling in the absence of Mike Smith, the Flames will opt to go back to the hot-hand on Saturday in Gillies. He draws another strong matchup this afternoon against the Avalanche.
Varlamov turned in an admirable performance on Thursday, stopping 43 of the 46 shots he faced in a losing effort against the Oilers. With Jonathan Bernier (concussion) sidelined without a timetable for his return, Varlamov should get nearly all of the starts for the Avalanche in the foreseeable future. He has a tough matchup this afternoon in Calgary.
