Mackinnon will return to the lineup Sunday against the Oilers.
Mackinnon was back skating with Gabriel Landeskog and Mikko Rantanen at practice on Saturday. He has 61 points in 49 games for the Avalanche this season (24G/37A). Colorado went 4-4 without Mackinnon in the lineup.

Talbot stopped just 24 of the 28 shots he faced in Edmonton’s 4-1 loss in Vegas on Thursday. The loss was the fourth for Talbot in as many starts, as his dreadful season continues. He’ll get a prime bounce-back opportunity this afternoon in Arizona.

Gibson was phenomenal against the Blackhawks on Thursday, turning away 42 of 44 shots en route to a 3-2 Ducks’ victory. Gibson has played well in the four games he’s played since returning from injury, posting a .939 SV% over that span. He draws a decent matchup this afternoon in Minnesota.

Green (upper-body) will not play Saturday in Nashville.

Mrazek will start Saturday in Nashville.
Mrazek hasn’t started a game since February 9th against the Islanders, where he gave up an atrocious seven goals on 29 shots. Despite the poor performance Mrazek has played admirably this season, posting a .914 SV%. He draws a difficult matchup tonight in Nashville.
Brian Boyle is unlikely to play Saturday against the Lightning. He is questionable to play Sunday in Carolina.
Boyle was forced to leave last Sunday’s game vs. the Bruins and is day-to-day with a right shoulder ailment. He participated in a full practice with the Devils on Saturday.
Athanasiou is expected to return to the lineup tonight after missing Thursday's game with an illness.

Holtby is expected to start Saturday in Chicago.
Holtby allowed four goals on 44 shots in Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Jets. It was the second straight loss for Holtby after a disappointing 5-4 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. He’s got a good chance to get back in the win column tonight against the struggling Blackhawks.

Rittich will start vs. the Panthers on Saturday.
Rittich turned away 29 of 32 shots in the Flames’ 4-3 win over the Predators on Thursday. Despite his strong play this season, Rittich hasn’t been great in the absence of Mike Smith, allowing seven goals on just 71 shots over the last two games. He draws an okay matchup tonight at home against the Panthers.

The longest suspension served was dealt to former-Detroit Red Wing David Perron at six-games after a cross-checking penalty dealt ironically against his current team in the 2024-25 season, the Ottawa Senators. Additionally, Perron was fined $148,437.48 for his actions.
