Hellebuyck allowed three goals on 39 shots last Thursday. Michael Hutchinson gave Hellebuyck a night off on Tuesday, but Hellebuyck will get back in the cage tonight vs. the Golden Knights. Hellebuyck went 5-2-2 with a 2.28 GAA, .927 SV% and one shutout in nine January starts. Tonight he will get his first look at the Vegas Golden Knights.

Allen allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Blues loss to the Coyotes on January 20th. Carter Hutton has started five of the last six games, but Allen will get another shot tonight in Boston. Allen has not faced the Bruins this season, but has gone 8-7-2 with a 2.90 GAA and .908 SV% on the road.

With John Gibson listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury, Berra has been recalled to serve as Ryan Miller’s backup in Ottawa. Berra has gone 10-6-0 with a 2.68 GAA and .920 SV% in 17 games with the Gulls this season.

Gibson is day-to-day with a lower-body injury so Ryan Miller will start in Ottawa and Reto Berra has been recalled from San Diego (AHL) to serve as his backup. The Ducks have not placed Gibson on IR, which suggests that it probably isn’t too serious and he could be back at for one of the next two games.

Mrazek allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Red Wings shootout win over the Sharks on Wednesday. Mrazek has been excellent in his last five outings, going 3-1-0 while allowing just five goals on 144 shots (.965 SV%) and two shutouts. He will look to stay hot tonight vs. a Hurricanes team that shutout the Montreal Canadiens last night.

Miller allowed one goal on six shots after replacing John Gibson (lower-body) in the Bruins win in Boston on Tuesday. With Gibson hurt, Miller will make his 11th start of the season tonight. Miller has gone 3-2-3 with a 2.44 GAA and .924 SV% on the road this season—the veteran stopped all 29 shots that he faced in a shutout win vs. the Senators in early-December.

Ward allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Hurricanes 2-1 win over the Senators on Tuesday. Ward has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV% in his last five outings. He has been the better goalie in Carolina this season and has gone 2-0-0 with a 3.00 GAA and .891 SV% in his first two games vs. Montreal.

Johnson stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Sabres win in Calgary on January 22nd. Robin Lehner started the last three games but Johnson will get a shot to build off of his last start tonight vs. the Panthers. Johnson has gone 0-4-1 with a 4.88 GAA and .855 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances at KeyBank Center this season.

Lyon turned aside all five shots that he faced in relief of Michal Neuvirth in his NHL debut last night. Neuvirth reportedly did not feel well during the game, so look for Lyon to get his first career start tonight in New Jersey. The 25-year-old is a bit of an unknown and is the fourth goalie on the Flyers depth chart but with injuries he’ll get his shot—he was 13-8-2 with a 2.90 GAA and .910 SV% in Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Ward allowed one goal on 30 shots in the Hurricanes 2-1 win over the Senators on Tuesday. Ward has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.54 GAA and .916 SV% in his last five outings. McElhinney allowed one goal on 40 shots in the Maple Leafs win in Dallas last Thursday. It was a great outing for the Toronto backup, who hadn’t played in 36 days. With Frederik Andersen starting last night he probably won’t have to wait another month to play as he’s expected to start tonight against the Rangers. McElhinney has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.88 GAA and .919 SV% on the road this season.
