Eichel tweaked his ankle in last night’s loss in Washington, but he said he is fine and will play tonight vs. the Oikers. Eichel has played well in his first four games of the season, posting three goals and one assist. Expect a strong performance tonight as he goes head to head with Connor McDavid.

Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice.

Lehtonen stopped all 23 shots that he faced in the Stars’ shutout win in Colorado on Saturday. Tonight he faces the Flames for the second time—he stopped 29 of 31 shots in a 4-2 win in the first meeting.

He’s playing well and tonight he faces the Panthers for the second time—he stopped 38 of 39 shots in a 3-1 win in the first meeting.

Steve Mason
Lundqvist is expected to start Tuesday in Brooklyn.

The Senators have recalled Phil Varone from Binghamton (AHL).

Curtis Lazar was injured in Monday’s loss and will not travel out west with the team, so Varone has been recalled and will go with the team. Varone has no points in three games with Ottawa this season, but has picked up five goals and eight assists (13 points) in 18 games with Binghamton.

Phil Varone
Anderson (personal) will not travel to San Jose with the team.

Anderson continues to leave the team to be with his wife and this time he leaves after playing just one game—he allowed seven goals on 43 shots in an 8-5 loss in Pittsburgh last night. The Senators will continue to lean on Mike Condon as their starter and have recalled Andrew Hammond from Binghamton (AHL) to be their backup.

Craig Anderson
Lazar (undisclosed) will not travel with the team to San Jose.

Lazar left Monday’s game with an undisclosed injury and did not return and will head to Ottawa to undergo further evaluation. With Lazar out, the Senators recalled Phil Varone to take his place on the Senators’ west coast road trip.

Curtis Lazar
Beleskey is expected to miss six weeks with a right knee injury.

Beleskey left Saturday’s game with a knee injury and the Bruins announced that he will miss approximately six weeks. Beleskey has struggled in 2016-17, but this is still a tough loss for the Bruins. Expect Anton Blidh to stay with the team for the foreseeable future.

Matt Beleskey
Galchenyuk is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

Galchenyuk was hurt during Sunday’s shootout win in Los Angeles, but traveled to St. Louis with the team. After undergoing some testing in St. Louis, Galchenyuk will return to Montreal to undergo further testing. Expect a more definitive timetable to be revealed later this week. In the meantime, Andrew Shaw will likely shift to centre for Tuesday’s game.

Alex Galchenyuk
Yandle (lower-body) is expected to miss an extended period of time.

Yandle left Monday’s game after playing just 4:51 and did not return. After the game, Panthers’ head coach Tom Rowe said that Yandle will be out for “a while.” Yandle has appeared in 577 consecutive games, a streak that will come to an end on Tuesday. Look for Dylan McIlrath to draw back into the lineup for Florida.

Keith Yandle
The Flyers have recalled Taylor Leier from Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Taylor Leier
Read will miss four weeks with an upper-body injury.

Read was injured during Sunday’s win over the Predators when he was hit into the net by Filip Forsberg. Read will miss approximately one month and his injury has left to the Flyers recalling Taylor Leier from Lehigh Valley (AHL)—he is expected to replace Read on Tuesday.
