Budaj allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Kings’ loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Budaj has gone 3-4-1 with a 2.25 GAA and .910 SV% in seven starts and one relief appearance in November. He hasn’t been great, nor has he been bad, but he remains a risky option whenever he gets the nod. He’ll face an Edmonton team that has lost four straight games.
Allen stopped 23 of 24 shots in the Blues’ win over the Sabres on Tuesday. Allen has gone 2-2-1 with a 3.43 GAA and .874 SV% in the month of November. Overall, his 2016-17 numbers aren’t great, but he has been excellent on home-ice. Allen is 4-0-2 with a 1.15 GAA and .954 SV% in six starts at the Scottrade Center.
Pastrnak missed Wednesday’s practice because of an undisclosed injury and will be held out of the lineup tonight in Minnesota. Consider Pastrnak as day-to-day and monitor his status prior to Saturday’s game vs. the Jets.
Montoya allowed three goals on 35 shots in the Canadiens’ loss in Chicago on Sunday. If you take out the absurd 10-goal against game, Montoya has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.79 GAA and .946 SV% in five starts. Tonight he makes for a strong spot-start against a Hurricanes team that is under .500 and sit 17th in goal scoring (2.53 GF/PG).
Howard allowed five goals on 25 shots in the Red Wings’ loss in Montreal last Saturday. Petr Mrazek started on Tuesday, but they’ll go back to Howard tonight in Washington. Howard has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.69 GAA and .913 SV% in four November starts and draws a rough start tonight against a high-powered Washington team.
Drouin has missed the last seven games with an upper-body injury, but will return to the lineup tonight in Buffalo. Drouin’s return is key for the Lightning, who will be without Steven Stamkos for an extended period of time. Drouin will skate on the third line and comes in with five points (2G / 3A) in 10 games.
Steen left Tuesday’s game vs. Buffalo with an undisclosed injury, missed Wednesday’s practice and will be game-time decision tonight. Steen has no points in his last four games and could be replaced by Nail Yakupov if he can’t go.
Tarasenko missed Wednesday’s practice because of an undisclosed injury that he suffered in Tuesday’s game vs. the Sabres. Tarasenko will be a game-time decision, so monitor his status during warmups at 7:30 p.m. ET. Tarasenko has two goals and seven assists (nine points) in his last six games.
Ward stopped all 22 shots that he faced in the Hurricanes’ shutout win vs. San Jose on Tuesday. Ward has won two in a row and three of his last five starts while posting a 1.56 GAA, .942 SV% and one shutout. Despite his recent hot-streak, Ward draws a tough matchup against a Montreal team that has gone 13-2-2 in their first 17 games.
Landeskog missed Wednesday’s practice and will not play Thursday vs. the Stars. The Avalanche may get Matt Duchene back, but losing Landeskog will be a big loss. He is listed as day-to-day, so monitor his status prior to Saturday’s game.
Dubnyk allowed one goal on 27 shots in the Wild’s loss to the Flames on Tuesday. Dubnyk has gone 1-4-0 despite posting a 1.84 GAA and .944 SV% in five November starts. Tonight he will face the Bruins for the second time this season—he posted a 27-save shutout in their first meeting back on October 25th.
Bishop allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Lightning’s win in Detroit on Tuesday. The win snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Bishop, who is now 6-5-0 with a 2.94 GAA and .902 SV%. Tonight he draws an excellent matchup against a Sabres team that has lost five consecutive games. Bishop is 3-3-0 with a 2.86 GAA and .911 SV% in six games on the road.
Rinne stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Predators’ shutout win over the Ducks on Saturday. Rinne missed Tuesday’s game in Toronto because of a minor injury, but will return to the crease tonight in Ottawa. Rinne has won three in a row while posting a 0.67 GAA and .976 SV%, including a 33-save performance in a 3-1 win over these Senators last Tuesday.
Hoffman missed the morning skate and will not play Thursday vs. the Predators. With Hoffman out, the Senators recalled Max McCormick from Binghamton and he will replace Hoffman in the lineup tonight.
Condon allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Senators’ win in Buffalo on November 9th. Condon has been excellent in his first two starts with the Senators, winning each game while stopping 58 of 59 shots (.983 SV%). Condon has been great, but he draws a tough matchup against a Predators team that is surging right now.
Lehtonen allowed five goals on 30 shots in the Stars loss in Vancouver on Sunday. Lehtonen has lost three of his five November starts while posting a 3.70 GAA and .884 SV%. Tonight he will take on the Avalanche for the second time this season—he allowed one goal on 13 shots after replacing Antti Niemi in a 6-5 loss in Colorado in mid-November.
Hellebuyck stopped all 27 shots that he faced in the Jets’ shutout win over the Blackhawks on Tuesday. Hellebuyck is on a four-game winning streak, having posted a 1.47 GAA and .946 SV%. Hellebucyk has caught fire and tonight he faces a Flyers team that has lost four of their last five games.
Radulov missed Tuesday’s game because of an illness and will be held out of the lineup on Friday as well. He won’t travel for Friday’s game, but the Canadiens return home for a game with the Maple Leafs on Saturday, so he could return to the lineup then.
MacDonald has missed the last six games with a lower-body injury, but he is expected to return to the lineup tonight, replacing Shayne Gostisbehere, who will be a healthy scratch. MacDonald has one goal and two assists in 10 games this season.
