The Jets already announced that Kulikov would miss at least four weeks, so his move to IR is just a formality. Moving Kulikov to IR opens up a roster spot and gives the Jets some flexibility.

Shaw was signed to a two-way contract on Sunday and heads to Manitoba to start his Jets career. Shaw was originally with the Ducks on a PTO, picking up five points (2G / 3A) in seven games with San Diego (AHL) before signing in Winnipeg.

Ritchie has missed the last four games with an infection, but could be back in the lineup vs. the Blue Jackets. Ritchie has just one assist in 11 games this season and will return in a fourth-line capacity (replacing Gemel Smith) if he ends up playing.

Radulov has missed the last six games and eight of the last nine games with a lower-body injury, but will play Monday vs. the Blue Jackets. Radulov, who has 11 points (5G / 6A) in seven games this season, will be back on the top-line with Tyler Seguin and Jamie Benn.

Petersen, 24, was a fifth round pick of the Sabres (No.129 overall) in 2013 and it appears he will make his NHL debut in the near future. Both Jonathan Quick and Jack Campbell are out with a torn meniscus, so Petersen joins Peter Budaj as the Kings goaltending duo. Petersen was a standout at the University of Notre Dame but has struggled in the AHL this season, going 2-3-1 with a 4.29 GAA and .881 SV% in 10 games.

Campbell was filling in as the Kings’ No.1 netidner with Jonathan Quick out with a torn meniscus of his own. Campbell’s knee will also require surgery and is expected to be sidelined for at least on month. Cal Petersen, who was a fifth-round pick of the Sabres in 2013, has been recalled to take Campbell’s spot on the roster.

Ward surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Edmonton on November 1st. Ward has struggled to 3-2-3 with a 3.92 GAA and .887 SV% in his first eight starts with the Blackhawks and tonight he makes his return to Carolina. During 13 seasons with the Hurricanes, Ward was 318-244-84 with a 2.70 GAA, .909 SV% and 27 shutouts.

Paul has registered one assist in six games with the Senators this season. He returns to Belleville, where he has six points (2G / 4A) in six games.

John Carlson returned to the Capitals lineup on Sunday, so Ness heads back to Hershey. The 28-year-old has four assists and a minus-1 rating in 12 games with the Bears.

Khudobin allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Stars win over the Sharks last Thursday. Khudobin and Ben Bishop have rotated games in each of the last seven games, so Khudobin will go tonight after Bishop started on Saturday. The 32-year-old has gone 2-0-0, stopping 55 of 61 shots (.902 SV%) in his only two starts on home-ice this season.

Markstrom allowed three goals on 37 shots in the Canucks loss in Buffalo on Saturday. Markstrom has gone 4-1-2 with a 3.45 GAA and .888 SV% in seven starts since Anders Nilsson got hurt. Tonight he will face a Rangers team without two of their top wingers, but Markstrom is 2-2-2 with a 3.53 GAA and .889 SV% on the road.

Kruger will miss his second straight game with a left leg injury, which means Luke Johnson will remain as the Blackhawks’ fourth line centre. Kruger is day-to-day and questionable for Wednesday’s game vs. the Blues.

Saad was a late scratch from Saturday’s game in Philadelphia and his status for Monday’s game remains in question. Saad will not take part in the morning skate and his status will be determined later, making him a game-time decision.

Zuccarello missed the Rangers two-game road-trip and will miss his third straight game tonight. This leaves the Rangers without Zuccarello and Pavel Buchnevich on the right-side. Filip Chytil could move up the Rangers’ lineup for the time being.

Lundqvist surrendered three goals on 31 shots in the Rangers 3-2 overtime loss in Detroit last Friday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Lundqvist, who will make his 14th start of the season tonight. The 36-year-old is 4-3-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .932 SV% in seven starts at Madison Square Garden this season.

Howard allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Red Wings overtime win over the Rangers last Friday. Howard has won four straight games while posting a 2.40 GAA and .927 SV% and draws a solid matchup tonight with the Coyotes in town. Arizona is 24th in the NHL in goal-scoring (2.75 GF/PG) through 16 games.

van Riemsdyk was scratched in favour of Haydn Fleury on Saturday, but will replace Brett Pesce (lower-body) tonight. van Riemsdyk was a minus-3 in 14:42 TOI against his former team last Thursday and has just three assists and 19 shots in 14 games this season.

Pesce is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury that he suffered against the Red Wings on Saturday. Pesce was reportedly injured in a knee-on-knee collision, but is not expected to be sidelined long-term. With Pesce out, Trevor van Riemsdyk will draw back into the lineup on Monday.
