McCollum, 28, has gone 18-13-2 with a 2.72 GAA and .909 SV% in 34 games with the Griffins this season. McCollum has been recalled to backup Jimmy Howard on Tuesday because Jared Coreau is out with an illness.

Coreau was originally scheduled to start in Columbus, but his illness will keep him out. Jimmy Howard will get the nod and Tom McCullum has been recalled to serve as his backup.
