Gostisbehere will miss the Flyers back-to-back on Wednesday/Thursday but has not been ruled out for Saturday’s home game against the Avalanche. With Gostisbehere still out, Ivan Provorov will continue to be leaned on as the Flyers’ No.1 defenseman.

This is an unfortunate injury for both Dansk and the Golden Knights. Dansk had been playing brilliantly, stopping 88 of the 93 shots (.946 SV%) that he faced before getting hurt. Dansk joins Marc-Andre Fleury and Malcolm Subban on IR, leaving Maxime Lagace and Dylan Ferguson as their goaltending duo for the foreseeable future.

The Golden Knights have lost the first three goalies on their depth chart to injury, so Ferguson will make the jump from the WHL to the NHL where he will serve as Maxime Lagace’s backup at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. Ferguson has gone 4-9-0 with a 4.05 GAA and .878 SV% in 13 games with Kamloops so far this season.

Patrick has been sidelined since October 26th, missing the last three games and will miss at least the next two contests with an upper-body injury. The rookie could be set to return to the lineup when the Flyers return home for Saturday’s meeting with the Avalanche.

With Shayne Gostisbehere (upper-body) out, it looked like Samuel Morin was finally going to get his chance, but it looks like he’ll have to wait a little longer. Morin was never officially recalled and will now miss at least a couple of weeks and will likely return at the AHL level.

Honka had some tough games to start the season and has served as a healthy scratch for the last three games, so the Stars will send him to Texas so he can play. Honka failed to record a point in six games this season, but returns to the AHL where he amassed 31 points (7G / 24A) in 50 contests.

Domingue cleared waivers after the Coyotes acquired Scott Wedgewood via trade, allowing him to be sent to Tucson. Domingue had a terrible start to the 2017-18 season, posting a 4.33 GAA and .856 SV% in seven appearances.

Hanley is in his first season with the Coyotes organization and has picked up four assists in seven games with Tucson so far this year. The 26-year-old has appeared in 17 career NHL games, amassing just six assists.

McCormick was recalled prior to Monday’s contest but was held out of the lineup as a healthy scratch. It could have been a cap move to send him down and he could be “recalled” prior to Thursday’s game vs. the Red Wings.

Howard stopped 44 of 46 shots in the Red Wings’ shootout win over the Panthers on Saturday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Howard, who will make his 10th start of the season tonight vs. the Coyotes. Arizona won their first game last night, but Howie already has a ‘W’ against them this season and comes in ranking ninth in the NHL in SV% (.929).

Hellebuyck stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Jets’ win over the Penguins on Sunday. IT was another stellar performance from Hellebuyck, who now sits at 5-0-1 with a 2.05 GAA and .937 SV% on the season. One of those wins came against the Wild, who he will face again tonight—that evening he stooped 24 of 27 shots en route to a 4-2 victory.

Hjalmarsson suffered an upper-body injury in the Coyotes win in Philadelphia on Monday and will be replaced by Adam Clendening tonight in Detroit. There was no update on how serious the injury is, so consider the veteran as day-to-day for now.

Wedgewood allowed three goals on 31 shots in the Coyotes’ win in Philadelphia last night. It was a strong Arizona debut for the young netminder, who will start on back-to-back nights with Antti Raanta (lower-body) still on the mend. Going on back-to-back nights can be tough, but Wedgewood should be well rested and has a decent matchup in Detroit.

The Wild initially listed Niederreiter as a game-time decision for Tuesday, but head coach Bruce Boudreau told a local radio station that Niederreiter will make his return tonight vs. the Jets. Niederreiter has missed the last six games but is expected to draw in on a line with Eric Staal tonight. He is still searching for his first point of the season, but Niederreiter likely won’t have to wait too long for it to happen.

Stalock made 35 saves on 37 shots in the Wild’s win in Calgary 10 days ago. Stalock has only started two games this season, but he’s played well enough to earn another start tonight vs. the Jets. So far, he has stopped 73 of the 79 shots (.924 SV%) that he has faced. However, the matchup is far from ideal, making Stalock a risky spot-start option.

Fedun has split his 2017-18 season between the NHL and AHL so far this season. Fedun has one assist in two NHL games and two assists in four games with Rochester. He takes Zach Redmond’s spot on the roster.

DeSmith was recalled to serve as Matt Murray’s backup after Antti Niemi was claimed off of waivers by the Panthers. DeSmith made his NHL debut on Sunday, replacing Murray in the first period and went on to allow three goals on 15 shots.

Casey DeSmith was originally brought up to serve as Matt Murray’s backup, but Jarry took that spot on Monday. The 22-year-old, former second-round pick has gone 3-2-0 with a 3.18 GAA and .897 SV% in five AHL starts this season. It has been a disappointing start for Jarry, who was 28-15-1 with a 2.15 GAA and .925 SV% with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton last year. He could start one of the Penguins’ back-to-back games on Wednesday/Thursday.

Dansk appeared to have lost an edge and he fell awkwardly on John Tavares’ second goal of the game and was forced to depart with a lower-body injury. Dansk was replaced by Maxime Lagace, who struggled, but is now expected to get the nod on Tuesday. There’s no word on how long Dansk will be sidelined, but the Golden Knights’ goaltending injury woes continue.

Lagace entered Monday’s game in Brooklyn after Oscar Dansk suffered a lower-body injury and struggled, allowing four goals on 11 shots. With Dansk hurt, Gerard Gallant said “next man up” so Lagace is expected to go head-to-head with Henrik Lundqvist in his first career start. The Rangers come in at 3-7-2 while averaging 2.83 goals for per game.
