Schneider will face the Sabres on Tuesday.

Schneider stopped 33 of 35 shots in a loss in Tampa Bay in his return to the Devils crease on Saturday. It was a solid return for Schneider, who will start again tonight vs. the Sabres. Schneider has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .944 SV% in his first two starts against Buffalo.

Darling will start Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Darling allowed four goals on 46 shots in the Blackhawks win over the Bruins on Sunday. Darling has won four of his last five starts while posting a 2.81 GAA and .910 SV%. Tonight he takes on a Coyotes team that has lost three of their last four, including last night. Darling is 5-2-1 wit ha 2.26 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season.

Reimer will start Tuesday in Minnesota.

Reimer allowed two goals on 30 shots in the Sharks win in Nashville on Saturday. Reimer has won his last two starts and is now 5-2-0 with a 1.85 GAA, .927 SV% and two shutouts in seven starts since joining the Sharks. Tonight he will take on a Wild team that is coming off of a tough week—they’ve lost three in a row while being outscored 11-5.

Quick will start Monday in Vancouver.

Quick allowed three goals on 39 shots in the Kings loss to Dallas on Saturday. Quick has lost five of his last seven starts, but tonight he will make his 66th start of the season and his fifth against the Canucks. He has gone 3-1-0 wit ha 1.00 GAA and .956 SV% in there first four meetings of the season.

Miller will start Monday vs. the Kings.

Miller allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Canucks win in San Jose last Thursday. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Miller, who starts his 50th game of the season tonight vs. the Kings. He has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .907 SV% in his first two starts against Los Angeles.

Elliott will start Monday vs. the Coyotes.

Elliott was pulled after he allowed five goals on 23 shots in the Blues loss to Boston on Friday. After allowing just one goal in his four previous starts, it was surprising to see Elliott struggle vs. the Bruins. With Jake Allen out, Elliott will start tonight vs. Arizona. Elliott is 10-3-3 with a 2.21 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season.

Holtby will start Thursday vs. the Penguins.

Holtby allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Capitals loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Holtby will get another shot at tying Martin Brodeur for the most wins in an NHL season (48) tonight vs. the Penguins. Holtby struggled mightily in his last start against Pittsburgh, but has gone 2-2-0 with a 2.65 GAA and .920 SV% in the first four meetings of the season.

Holtby allowed two goals on 19 shots in the Capitals win in Colorado on Friday. Philipp Grubauer started on Saturday, so they’ll come back to Holtby tonight vs. the Islanders. Holtby has 47 wins on the season and comes in having won four of his last five while posting a 1.18 GAA, .953 SV% and one shutout. Holtby is 3-0-0 with a 1.63 GAA and .940 SV% vs. the Isles.

Backes (lower-body) will miss the rest of the regular season.

Backes suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday’s win and will miss at least one week. The Blues have three games left in the regular season, so he’ll miss all three and then be re-evaluated prior to the playoffs. Expect Ryan Reaves to draw in for him on Monday.

Allen suffered a lower-body injury in Sunday’s win and will miss at least one week. The Blues have three games left in the regular season, so he’ll miss all three and then be re-evaluated prior to the playoffs. The Blues will turn to Brian Elliott in goal with Anders Nilsson serving as his backup.

Ortio will man the net for the Flames on Tuesday.

Ortio stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Flames shutout win in Edmonton on Saturday. Ortio has won two of his last four starts while posting a 1.76 GAA, .934 SV% and one shutout. The 24-year-old has gone 0-2-0 with a 2.53 GAA and .924 SV% in his first two starts against the Kings this season.

Hanzal (upper-body) will not play on Monday.

Hanzal will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury that he suffered in Dallas last Thursday. With Hanzal out, Laurent Dauphin will remain in the lineup vs. the Blues. The Coyotes are hopeful that Hanzal will return to the lineup before the end of the season.

Domingue will likely start Tuesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Domingue allowed four goals on 20 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Flames on March 28th. Mike Smith started the last three games, including last night, so look for Domingue to go tonight in Chicago. The 24-year-old has gone 0-1-1 with a 4.63 GAA and .871 SV% in two starts against the Blackhawks this season.

Spurgeon (lower-body) is expected to return to the Wild lineup on Tuesday.

Spurgeon missed the last two games with a lower-body injury, but is expected to be back in vs. the Sharks. Monitor his status during the morning skate, but expect him to draw back in alongside Ryan Suter. Spurgeon has 11 goals and 18 assists (29 points) in 75 games this season.

Smith stopped all 31 shots that he faced in the Coyotes’ shutout win over the Capitals on Saturday. Smith has won three of his last four starts while posting a 1.50 GAA, .953 SV% and one shutout. In his first start against the Blues, Smith allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 4-1 loss. St. Louis has won five of their last six.

Hossa (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s game; expected to be ready for the playoffs.

Hossa suffered a left knee injury in Sunday’s win over the Bruins. Hossa could be in trouble missing the Blackhawks remaining three games, but head coach Joel Quenneville said he expects to have Hossa back in time for the playoffs.
