The Kings have placed Matt Greene (back/groin) on IR.

Greene missed the final five games before the All-Star break with back and groin injuries and has been placed on IR to create a roster spot and there's no timetable for his return.

Matt Greene
Larkin (upper-body) practiced on Monday; could return on Tuesday.

Larkin missed the last two games before the All-Star break, but could be back in vs. the Devils on Tuesday. Larkin has struggled this year, but will be looking to finish 2016-17 off strong. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Dylan Larkin
Lundqvist is expected to start Tuesday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Lundqvist allowed two goals on 26 shots in the Rangers’ loss to the Flyers last Wednesday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Lundqvist, who has found his stride again. Over his last four starts, Lundqvist has given up just six goals on 110 shots (.946 SV%). He has gone 1-1-0 with a 3.53 GAA and .883 SV% vs. the Blue Jackets this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
The Bruins recalled Anton Khudobin from Providence (AHL).

Khudobin struggled early in the season, going 1-5-1 with a 3.06 GAA and .885 SV% before being demoted. During his time in Providence, Khudobin went 6-3-1 with a 2.86 GAA and .892 SV%. Head coach Claude Julien would not say if Khudobin will start one of the Bruins back-to-back games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Anton Khudobin
Crawford will start Tuesday in San Jose.

Crawford allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Blackhawks’ loss to the Lightning last Tuesday. Scott Darling started on Thursday, but Crawford will go tonight in San Jose. The 32-year-old has gone 5-4-0 with a 3.32 GAA and .891 SV% in nine January starts. In his first start vs. the Sharks, Crawford allowed two goals on 35 shots in a 2-1 loss.

Corey Crawford
Pickard will start Tuesday in Anaheim.

Pickard allowed three goals on 41 shots in Colorado’s loss vs. the Canucks last Wednesday. With Semyon Varlamov out for the rest of the season, Pickard will get a chance to be their No.1 and comes into Tuesday with a 5-6-0 record, 2.71 GAA and .918 SV%. He faced the Ducks a few weeks ago and allowed two goals on 36 shots in a 2-1 loss.

Calvin Pickard
The Coyotes sent Christian Fischer to Tucson (AHL).

Fischer, 19, had two goals in three games with Arizona before the All-Star break and was sent back to Tucson. The Coyotes are going to leave him in the AHL for now. The 2015 No.32 overall pick has 16 goals and 16 assists (32 points) in 33 games with the Roadrunners.

Christian Fischer
Domi (hand) has been upgraded to day-to-day; expected to skate with the team on Tuesday.

Domi skated by himself for 30 minutes on Monday and is expected to join his team on the ice tomorrow. Domi has been sidelined since December 8th and the Coyotes are confident that he will return to the lineup within two weeks.

Max Domi
The Ducks recalled Nate Thompson (Achilles) from his conditioning stint with San Diego (AHL).

Thompson has not appeared in a game this season, but went to San Diego on a conditioning stint after being cleared to return from an Achilles injury. Thompson registered one assist in three AHL games and could make his season debut on Tuesday.

Nate Thompson
Silfverberg (upper-body) returned to practice on Monday; could play on Tuesday.

Silfverberg missed the final three games before the All-Star break, but he was back on a line with Ryan Kesler and Andrew Cogliano this morning, which suggests he’ll be back in versus the Avalanche on Tuesday. Silfverberg is on-pace for a career-year having scored 13 goals with 16 assists (29 points) in 48 games so far this season.

Jakob Silfverberg
Nesterov will make his Canadiens debut on Tuesday.

Nesterov was acquired in a trade from Tampa Bay last week and will draw into the lineup versus the Sabres tomorrow. The 23-year-old blueliner registered 12 points (3G / 9A) in 35 games with the Lightning and has 28 points (9G / 19A) across 119 career NHL games.

Nikita Nesterov
Markov (lower-body) was on the ice for practice on Monday; expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Markov has been sidelined by a lower-body injury since December 17th, but appears ready-to-go on Tuesday. Markov had a really nice two and a half months to open the season, collecting two goals and 19 assists (21 points) across 31 games. Look for the veteran to skate with Nikita Nesterov, who was acquired from Tampa Bay last week.

Andrei Markov
Desharnais (knee) returned to practice on Monday; expected to play on Tuesday.

Desharnais has missed the last 24 games with a knee injury that he suffered in the early part of December. Desharnais is expected to centre Andrew Shaw and Sven Andrighetto tomorrow and comes into play with nine points (3G / 6A) in 25 games this season.

David Desharnais
Faksa (lower-body) was back at practice on Monday.

Faksa missed the Stars’ final two games before the All-Star break, but his availability for Monday’s practice suggests that he might be in the lineup when the Stars take on the Maple Leafs on Tuesday. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Radek Faksa
Price will start Tuesday vs. the Sabres.

Price allowed three gaols on 42 shots in the Canadiens’ loss to the Islanders last Thursday. Price has lost four of his last five starts despite posting a 2.41 GAA and .924 SV%. Price hasn’t had a memorable month of January, but will look to turn things around after the All-Star break. He makes for a great start tonight vs. the Sabres.

Carey Price
Reimer will start Tuesday vs. the Senators.

Reimer allowed one goal on 32 shots in the Panthers’ win over the Lightning last Thursday. Reimer earned another start tonight according to head coach Tom Rowe. Reimer is 3-1-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .920 SV% in five games in January and will take on a Senators team that has won four of their last six games.

James Reimer
Rielly (lower-body) practiced on Monday; expected to play on Tuesday.

Rielly missed the final five games before the All-Star break, but was on the ice for today’s practice and should be in the lineup tomorrow. Rielly didn’t confirm that he will play, so monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate, but all signs are pointing towards the Maple Leafs getting their No.1 defenseman back.
