Lundqvist starts Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Lundqvist allowed three goals on 22 shots before leaving his March 3rd start in Pittsburgh with a neck injury. Lundqvist missed the last three games as a result, but will be back in goal vs. the Red Wings this afternoon. King Henrik posted a 22-save shutout against Detroit in their first meeting and he is 4-2-2 with a 2.29 GAA and .923 SV% in afternoon games this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Hossa (leg) will play on Friday vs. the Stars.

Hossa has been out since February 13th, but will return to the lineup tonight after missing nearly one month with a leg injury. Hossa has 10 goals and 18 assists (28 points) in 54 games this season. He will skate on the Blackhawks’ top line with Jonathan Toews and Andrew Ladd.

Marian Hossa
Engelland (lower-body) will return to the Flames lineup on Friday.

Engelland missed Wednesday’s game with a lower-body injury, but will return to the lineup tonight vs. the Coyotes. Engelland has seen a recent spike in playing time, but is not a fantasy relevant asset. He has just seven points (1G / 6A) in 58 games this season.

Deryk Engelland
Bennett (mid-body) will not play on Friday; listed as day-to-day.

Bennett played just 3:49 TOI before departing Wednesday’s game with an upper-body injury, that will keep him out of tonight’s game vs. the Coyotes. With Bennett sidelined, the Flames have recalled Ken Agostino from Stockton (AHL), who will make his season debut and Michael Frolik move onto the second power-play unit.

Sam Bennett
Sparks will make his third straight start on Saturday.

Sparks turned aside 24 of 27 shots in the Maple Leafs shootout win over the Islanders on Wednesday. He will make his third straight start tonight in Ottawa—he has posted a 2.45 GAA and .904 SV% in four starts since being recalled from the Toronto Marlies. The Senators have lost three in a row and five of their last six games.

Garret Sparks
Subban (neck) will not be in the lineup on Saturday.

Thankfully for the Canadiens and Subban owners, he suffered what is being classified as a “minor neck injury.” Despite the injury not being as serious as it originally looked, Subban is still day-to-day and will be sidelined for Saturday’s game. With Subban out, the Canadiens have just five healthy defensemen, so they will likely recall a blueliner from St. John’s on Friday afternoon.

P.K. Subban
Vatanen (upper-body) will not play on Friday.

Vatanen will miss Friday’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered in Wednesday’s loss in Colorado. With Vatanen out, Korbinian Holzer will return to the Ducks lineup and Hampus Lindholm is expected to take on a larger role on the Ducks’ power-play, like he did after Vatanen left Wednesday’s game.

Sami Vatanen
Fehr (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Friday.

Fehr has been sidelined since February 2nd with a lower-body injury, but could be back in the lineup tonight in Columbus. Fehr is listed as a game-time decision, so monitor his status when warmups get underway at 6:30 p.m ET.

Eric Fehr
Mason will start Friday in Tampa Bay.

Mason allowed two goals on 18 shots in the Flyers win over the Lightning on Monday. He has won his last two starts while stopping 35 of 37 shots (.946 SV%). He’ll face the Lightning again tonight, but this time in Tampa Bay—Mason is 6-9-2 with a 3.08 GAA and .903 SV% in 17 starts on the road this season.

Steve Mason
Crawford gets the nod Friday in Dallas.

Crawford turned aside 28 of 30 shots in the Blackhawks shootout loss to the Blues on Wednesday. Crawford has won three of his last four while posting a 1.72 GAA and .945 SV%. He’ll take on the Stars for the fourth time this season—he is 1-2-0 with a 3.87 GAA and .897 SV% in the first three meetings.

Corey Crawford
Andersen will start Friday in St. Louis.

Andersen allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Ducks win in Los Angeles last Saturday. The Ducks will continue their goalie rotation, going back to Andersen tonight after John Gibson started the last two games. Andersen is riding a six-game winning streak while posting a 1.88 GAA and .935 SV%.

Frederik Andersen
Fleury starts Friday in Columbus.

Fleury allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Penguins loss to the Islanders on Tuesday. Fleury has dropped his last two starts, but will start his 50th game of the season tonight in Columbus. He is 9-9-4 with a 2.36 GAA and .921 SV% on the road this season and 0-1-1 and 0-1-1 with a .944 SV% vs. the Blue Jackets this season.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Allen starts Friday vs. the Ducks.

Allen allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Blues win over the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Allen has won four in a row while posting a 2.16 GAA and .938 SV%. Allen has started two games vs. the Ducks this season, going 1-0-0 with a 1.38 GAA and .943 SV% in the those two meetings.

The Wild have recalled Jordan Schroeder from Iowa (AHL).

Schroeder, 25, has split his season between Minnesota and Iowa. With Jason Pominville not expected to play on Saturday, Schroeder is expected to play in his spot. Schroeder has one goal in 15 games with Minnesota and 34 points (14G / 20A) in 40 games with Iowa.

The Wild have reassigned Steve Michalek to Iowa (AHL).

Michalek served as the Wild’s backup on Thursday with Devan Dubnyk out with an illness. The Wild’s starter is expected to be back for Saturday’s game, so Michalek returns to Iowa, where he is 6-2-0 with a 2.13 GAA and .931 SV% this season.

Steve Michalek
Lehtonen was the first goalie off of the ice for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Stars OT loss in Montreal on Tuesday. Tonight he makes his fourth consecutive start—he has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.29 GAA and .909 SV% in his last three. He won his first start vs. the Blackhawks, but is not considered a safe option tonight with the Hawks in town.
