Davidson left the game after a collision with Jets’ defenseman Dustin Byfuglien. He was spotted being helped down the dressing room hallway in a wheelchair, which suggests that the injury is of the serious variety. Expect an update prior to Tuesday’s game.
Johnson stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Sabres win in San Jose on February 26th. Robin Lehner has been starting the vast majority of recent games, but Johnson comes in having won his last two starts while stopping 50 of 55 shots (.909 SV%).
