Talbot starts Thursday in Los Angeles.

Talbot allowed three goals on 24 shots in the Oilers loss to the Senators on Tuesday. Talbot has lost four in for while posting a 3.36 GAA and .880 SV%. Talbot is getting absolutely no help from his team, making him a risky option until the Oilers get out of the tailspin they are in right now. The Kings are 2-2-1 while averaging just 1.20 goals per game in their last five.

Cam Talbot
Miller was the first goalie off of the ice for the Canucks.

Miller stopped 37 of 38 shots in the Canucks win over Colorado on Sunday. Miller has had an inconsistent season, but he has played well in February, going 2-3-1 with a 2.00 GAA and .939 SV% in six starts this month. He lost his first start vs. Ottawa and they come in on a four-game winning streak, averaging 3.25 goals per game.

Ryan Miller
Quick was the first goalie off of the ice for the Kings.

Quick stopped 22 of 23 shots in the Kings win over the Flames on Tuesday. Quick has won two in a row and is 2-1-1 with a 1.49 GAA and .950 SV% in his last four starts. Tonight he will make his fifth consecutive start when the Kings host the Edmonton Oilers. Quick is 3-0-0 with a 2.34 GAA and .928 SV% vs. Edmonton this season.

Jonathan Quick
van Riemsdyk (foot) has suffered a setback and is likely done for the season.

van Riemsdyk was expected to miss 6-8 weeks and today would mark exactly six weeks, but his foot has not healed like the Maple Leafs expected, so he will be shut down for the rest of the season. With the Maple Leafs tearing the team apart and with nothing to play for, there’s no point in risking JVR getting hurt even more.

The Jets have recalled Matt Halischuk from Manitoba (AHL).

With Bryan Little out for the rest of the season, Halischuk has been promoted from Manitoba. He has 18 points (6G / 12A) in 39 games with the Moose this season, but has not recorded a point in 13 NHL games.

Matt Halischuk

Halak allowed one goal on 31 shots in the Islanders win in Minnesota on Tuesday. Halak has won back-to-back games while stopping 57 of 58 shots (.983 SV%). Halak is heating up and tonight he draws an excellent matchup in Calgary—the Flames have dropped five of their last six games while averaging 2.67 goals per game.

Jaroslav Halak
Little will miss the rest of the regular season with a compression fracture of the T6 vertebrae.

Little is expected to be out for eight weeks after suffering a vertebrae fracture. With just over six weeks left in the regular season, Little will be shut down but is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the 2016-17 season.

Bryan Little
Lundqvist gets the nod Thursday in St. Louis.

Michael Hutchinson
Luongo starts Thursday vs. the Coyotes.

Luongo made 29 saves on 30 shots in the Panthers win over the Jets last Saturday. The win was huge for Luongo, who had struggled in his previous five outings. Tonight Bobby Lu starts vs. the visiting Coyotes. Arizona has lost three in a row and Luongo comes in with a 16-7-2 record, 2.22 GAA and .927 SV% on home ice this season.

Roberto Luongo
Faulk (leg) is not expected to play Thursday in Toronto.

Faulk limped off of the ice during Wednesday’s practice and will miss his seventh game of the Hurricanes’ last eight. His leg injury has not progressed like the Hurricanes’ had hoped, so he’ll sit tonight in Toronto. Michal Jordan is expected to be back in the lineup for Faulk.

He stopped 24 of 25 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss in the first meeting, but he is a must-start tonight.

Cam Ward
The Panthers have activated Aleksander Barkov (upper-body) from IR; will play on Thursday.

Barkov missed the last six games with an upper-body injury he suffered in Detroit on February 8th. Barkov should immediately be re-inserted into your fantasy lineup. He has 16 goals and 19 assists (35 points) in 43 games this season. He’ll centre the top line between Jaromir Jagr and Jussi Jokinen.
