Desharnais (lower-body) will not play on Wednesday.

Desharnais suffered a foot injury in the Canadiens game in Arizona on Monday. With Desharnais out, Lars Eller is expected to move into the Habs’ top-6. Desharnais is listed day-to-day for now without a timeframe for his return.

Scrivens starts Wednesday in Colorado.

Scrivens was yanked after giving up three goals on eight shots in the Canadiens loss in Buffalo last Friday. The loss snapped Scrivens’ three-game winning streak and was the fifth time in eight starts that Scrivens has allowed at least three goals. Tonight he faces an Avalanche team that has lost five of their last seven.

Boyle (flu) missed Tuesday's practice; questionable for Wednesday.

Boyle missed Tuesday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Wednesday’s game vs. the Blackhawks. Thankfully for the Rangers, Ryan McDonagh is expected to return after missing time with a concussion.

Lundqvist will start Wednesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Lundqvist stopped 21 of 22 shots in the Rangers win over the Flyers on Sunday. King Henrik has won five in a row while posting a 1.18 GAA and .954 SV%. Tonight will be his second start against the Blackhawks—the first was Lundqvist’s first start of the season, he turned aside 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 win.

Hiller will start Wednesday vs. the Wild.

Hiller was pulled after he surrendered four goals on 17 shots in the Flames loss to the Ducks on Monday. Hiller has given up a combined eight goals on 52 shots (.846 SV%) in his last two outings, but will look to bounce back tonight vs. the struggling Wild. Hiller is 5-2-0 on home ice despite posting an ugly 3.43 GAA and .908 SV%.

Lehtonen allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Stars win over the Capitals on Saturday. Antti Niemi started last night, so look for Lehtonen to go tonight in St. Louis. He has won three in a row while posting a 2.70 GAA and .919 SV%, but he will need to be great as he goes head-to-head with the red-hot Brian Elliott.

Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but it looks like he will return to the crease tonight in Washington. Quick stopped 35 of 37 shots in the Kings win in Boston last Tuesday. Quick has gone 14-4-1 with a 2.06 GAA and .932 SV% on the road this season, but draws a rough matchup tonight in Washington.

Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask was pulled after he allowed five goals on 24 shots in the Bruins loss in Detroit on Sunday. Rask has gone 3-1-1 with a 3.63 GAA and .902 SV% in six starts since the All-Star break. Tonight he faces the Blue Jackets on the road—Columbus has won four of five and Rask has been much better on the road than at home this season.

Andersen allowed four goals on 37 shots in the Ducks win in Calgary last night. Andersen has gone 5-0-1 with a 2.30 GAA and .922 SV% in five starts and two relief appearances since the All-Star break. Andersen has been great all year, but struggled in his first outing vs. the Oilers, allowing four goals on 27 shots in a 4-3 OT loss.
