Greaves will start in Seattle on Tuesday.

Elvis Merzlikins was the expected starter on Tuesday, but instead it will be Greaves who gets the nod in both ends of the Blue Jackets' back-to-back. Given the fact that Greaves was tagged for five goals on 24 shots in last night's overtime loss to the Oilers, it's likely that Merzlikins fell victim to the illness floating around the Blue Jackets locker room. Greaves and the Blue Jackets enter action in Seattle on Tuesday at +105 on the money line.

Jet Greaves
Askarov will start in Minnesota on Tuesday.

In a surprising turn of events, it was Askarov who led the Sharks out for warmups, indicating he is in fact the starter for Tuesday night's game in Minnesota. Alex Nedeljkovic was the confirmed starter earlier in the day. It's unclear what caused the sudden change, but Nedeljkovic is now expected to back up Askarov. Askarov is red-hot coming into Tuesday night's matchup, winning each of his last three starts while posting a .963 SV% in the process.

Yaroslav Askarov
Andersen will start against the Capitals on Tuesday.

The Hurricanes have kept Brandon Bussi in their netminding rotation despite the return of Pyotr Kochetkov, alternating all three goalies over the past week. That said, Andersen will be between the pipes on Tuesday against the Washington Capitals. The 36-year-old Andersen saved 21 of 24 shots (.875 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild. He has a 2.97 GAA and .892 SV% in eight games this season (5-3-0). The Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as -157 home favorites against a Capitals team amid a two-game losing skid (0-2-0).

Frederik Andersen
Kuemper will start in Montreal on Tuesday.

Kuemper has had an up-and-down 2025-26 season, yet to rediscover the form that earned him a Vezina finalist nomination last season, but has shown improvement lately. The 35-year-old Kuemper has been terrific in his last two games (2-0-0), posting a 1.00 GAA and .964 SV%. He has a 2.52 GAA and 905 SV% in 11 games this season (5-3-3). The Kings enter Tuesday's contest as slight -106 road favorites against a Montreal Canadiens team with points in six straight games (4-0-2).

Darcy Kuemper
Barron (undisclosed) has had his injury status changed to day-to-day.

Barron has not played since November 1st due to an undisclosed injury, originally given a week-to-week timeline, now updated to day-to-day. Barron has played well offensively in a bottom-six role for the Jets this season, scoring six points (3G / 3A) in 12 games while averaging 12:33 time-on-ice.

Morgan Barron
Durzi (upper-body) is still not practicing and will not return this week.

Durzi has not played since the second game of the season, recovering from an upper-body injury, and appears to still be a ways away from returning to the lineup. The 27-year-old Durzi was solid in limited action with Utah last season, scoring 11 points (4G / 7A) in 30 games.

Sean Durzi
Hellebuyck is in the starter's crease at Winnipeg's morning skate.

The Jets have only scored two combined goals in their last three games (0-3-0) and will need Hellebuyck to be near-perfect on Tuesday if their offense continues to struggle. The 32-year-old goalie, a two-time reigning Vezina Trophy winner, has been solid this season, posting a 2.30 GAA and .922 SV% through 11 games, but only has a 6-5-0 record to show for it, as his team ranks in the bottom half of the league offensively. The Jets enter Tuesday's contest as -116 road favorites against the Vancouver Canucks.

Connor Hellebuyck
Dostal will start in Colorado on Tuesday.

The Ducks hope to improve their winning streak to eight games on Tuesday, with Dostal tending the twine against the Colorado Avalanche. The 25-year-old Dostal was excellent in his most recent outing, saving 23 of 24 shots (.958 SV%) in a 4-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets. The Czech goalie has a 2.66 GAA and .908 SV% through 12 games this season (8-3-1). That said, the Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as massive +212 road underdogs against an Avalanche team that has outscored their competition 31-16 in their last six games (5-0-1).

Lukas Dostal
Samberg (wrist) practiced in a regular jersey on Tuesday and is getting close to returning.

Samberg has yet to play this season, recovering from a wrist injury during training camp, but appears to be nearing his season debut after practicing on Tuesday. The 26-year-old is entering his fifth NHL season in Winnipeg after posting career highs in nearly all statistical categories in 2024-25, including goals (6), points (20), SOG (95) and average TOI (21:08).

Dylan Samberg
Meyer has cleared waivers and been assigned to Rochester (AHL).

Meyer was a sixth-round pick of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 2017 NHL offseason and has primarily been an AHL player. The 28-year-old forward scored 21 points (9G / 12A) in 29 games with the San Diego Gulls (AHL) last season. He was signed to a two-year, $1.55 million contract ($775,000 AAV) this past offseason.

Carson Meyer
Demko will start vs. Winnipeg on Tuesday.

The Canucks did not dress Demko in either of their games last week as they continue managing his workout after an injury-plagued season in 2024-25. The 29-year-old Demko returns to the crease on Tuesday against the Winnipeg Jets, looking to build on a solid 2.57 GAA and .911 SV% through nine games this season (5-4-0). The Canucks enter Tuesday's contest as slight +104 home underdogs against a Jets team amid a season-worst three-game losing skid (0-3-0).

Thatcher Demko
Liljegren is expected to be a healthy scratch in Minnesota on Tuesday.

Shakir Mukhamadullin will draw back into San Jose's lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild, sending Liljegren to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Liljegren is averaging a career-high 20:32 time-on-ice, recording 28 blocks, 15 hits, and four points (0G / 4A) in 13 games this season.

Timothy Liljegren
Cardwell will be a healthy scratch vs. Minnesota on Tuesday.

With William Eklund (lower body) returning to the Sharks' lineup on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild, Cardwell will be the odd man out as a healthy scratch. The 23-year-old Cardwell has played four games for the Sharks this season, scoring one goal while averaging 12:21 time-on-ice.

Ethan Cardwell
Mukhamadullin will draw back into San Jose's lineup on Tuesday in Minnesota.

Timothy Liljegren will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild, allowing Mukhamadullin to re-enter the lineup. The 23-year-old Mukhamadullin is averaging 15:48 time-on-ice and is off to a strong offensive start this season, with four assist in six games.

Shakir Mukhamadullin
Demko is in the starter's crease at Vancouver's morning skate.

Merzlikins is expected to start in Seattle on Tuesday.

On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Blue Jackets will turn to Merzlikins on Tuesday against the Seattle Kraken. Despite an unimpressive 3.14 GAA, Merzlikins is putting together his best season in years, posting a .909 SV% through seven games (4-3-0). The 31-year-old Latvian goalie has recorded a sub- .900 SV% in three straight seasons. The Blue Jackets enter Tuesday's contest as slight +103 road underdogs against a Kraken team that is 4-1-2 on home ice this season.
