Quick was the first goalie off of the ice at the Kings morning skate.

Quick allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Kings win in Arizona on Saturday. Quick moved to 7-2-0 with a 2.29 GAA and .913 SV% in December and tonight it looks like he will face the Canucks for the third time this season. He is 1-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .927 SV% in the first two meetings. Jhonas Enroth left the ice shortly after Quick and this is game one of a back-to-back, so there is no guarantee that it will be Quick tonight.

Jonathan Quick
Lindback will start on Tuesday vs. the Blackhawks.

Lindback was excellent on Sunday, stopping 38 of 39 shots in the 2-1 OT win in Colorado. Lindback has been so inconsistent this year and for most of his NHL career—he sits at 2-1-1 with a 3.43 GAA and .885 SV% in December. His unpredictability and a matchup against the defending Stanley Cup Champions makes Lindback a scary option on Tuesday.

Anders Lindback
Markstrom will start on Monday vs. the Kings.

Markstrom allowed one goal on 33 shots in the Canucks win over the Oilers on Saturday. With Ryan Miller out, Markstrom remains the starter and he comes in having one two in a row while stopping 58 of 60 (.967 SV%) shots. He has played well as of late and will take on a Kings team that has lost four of their last six. In his first start vs. L.A, Markstrom stopped 38 of 40 shots in a 2-1 OT loss.

Jacob Markstrom
Rinne will start in goal vs. the Rangers.

Rinne allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Predators loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. Rinne will make his ninth consecutive start tonight, which will be his 12th in December—he has gone 4-5-2 with a 2.39 GAA and .909 SV% so far this month. Rinne will face a Rangers team on home ice, where he is 11-4-3 this season.

Pekka Rinne
Ward (undisclosed) will return to the Sharks lineup on Monday.

Ward has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury, but will return to the lineup tonight. Ward has 10 goals and 13 assists (23 points) in 32 games this season.

Joel Ward
Allen will start Tuesday vs. Nashville.

Allen allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Blues win over the Stars on Saturday. Brian Elliott got the nod on Sunday, but they will go back to Allen tonight vs. the Predators. Allen has won four of his last five while posting a 1.98 GAA and .934 SV%. He has faced the Preds twice already this season, going 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .986 SV% and one shutout in the first two.

Jake Allen
Jones will be between the pipes vs. Colorado.

Jones allowed three goals on 36 shots in the Sharks win in Los Angeles last Tuesday. Jones has won three of his last four games while posting a 2.95 GAA and .905 SV%. Jones has played OK in December and tonight he will make his second start against the Avalanche—he allowed three goals on 26 shots in a 4-3 win in their first meeting.

Martin Jones
Fowler is out indefinitely with a sprained knee.

Fowler left Sunday’s game with a lower-body injury, that the Ducks revealed is a sprained knee. They have not released a timetable for his return, but he will likely miss the remaining three games of the Ducks’ road trip. With Fowler out, the Ducks have recalled Shea Theodore, who could make his NHL debut on Tuesday.

Cam Fowler
Burrows (neck) will return to the Canucks lineup on Monday.

Burrows missed Saturday’s game with a neck injury, but will get back into the lineup tonight vs. the Kings. Burrows has not registered a point since November 21st, that’s 15 games without a point for the 34-year-old.

Alexandre Burrows
Girardi (knee) will be back in the Rangers lineup on Monday.

Girardi missed the last five games with a crack in his knee cap. The veteran blueliner has nine points (2G / 7A) in 31 games this season.

Dan Girardi
Klein (oblique) will be back in the Rangers lineup on Monday.

Klein has not played since November 30th because of an oblique issue, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Nashville to face his former team. Klein has three goals, three assists and a plus-11 rating in 25 games this season.

Kevin Klein
Rinne is the Predators projected starter for Monday.

Rinne allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Predators loss to the Red Wings on Saturday. Rinne is expected to make his ninth consecutive start tonight, which will be his 12th in December—he has gone 4-5-2 with a 2.39 GAA and .909 SV% so far this month. Rinne would face a Rangers team on home ice, where he is 11-4-3 this season.
