Dubnyk will start Saturday as long as his wife doesn't go into labor.

Dubnyk and his wife are expecting their second child any day now, so the plan is for him to start tonight as long as his wife doesn't go into labor. Dubnyk stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the 1-0 shutout win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Dubnyk has won two in a row while turning aside 58 of the last 59 shots (.983 SV%) that he’s faced.

Devan Dubnyk
Ward will start Saturday against the Canadiens.

Ward allowed four goals on 22 shots in the Hurricanes loss in New York on Monday. Ward has had a tough go recently, losing two in a row while allowing a combined seven goals on 36 shots (.806 SV%). Ward has gone 4-2-3 with a 2.53 GAA and .899 SV% on home ice this season. Tonight he should be avoided with the 19-5-3 Canadiens in town.

Cam Ward
Sparks will start in St. Louis on Saturday.

Sparks allowed six goals on 35 shots in the Maple Leafs 6-1 loss to the Jets on Wednesday. After an impressive NHL debut, Sparks struggled in his second start. With James Reimer out with an injury, it will be Sparks again tonight. Tonight he will start against a Blues team that has been struggling—St. Louis has lost three of four while averaging just 2.00 goals per game.

Garret Sparks
Mason will be between the pipes vs. his former team on Saturday.

Mason allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Flyers win in Ottawa on Tuesday. After losing four in a row, Mason has responded with back-to-back wins and draws a strong home matchup on Saturday. The Blue Jackets have lost three in a row while scoring just one goal in each loss. Mason has gone 1-3-3 with a 2.64 GAA and .919 SV% in seven home starts.

Steve Mason
Quick is expected to start on Saturday afternoon.

Quick made 15 saves on 16 shots in the Kings win over Vancouver on Tuesday. Quick has won two in a row and three out of the last four while posting an impressive 1.21 GAA and .951 SV%. He was the first goalie off at Friday’s practice, so it looks like he will start this afternoon vs. the Penguins. Quick has gone 8-5-0 with a 2.21 GAA and .913 SV% in 13 starts at STAPLES Center this season.

Jonathan Quick
Ward is the Hurricanes likely starter on Saturday.

Cam Ward
The Hurricanes recalled Brock McGinn from Charlotte (AHL) on Friday.

McGinn scored two goals with one assist in 12 games with the Hurricanes earlier in the season. While in the AHL, he has collected six goals and one assist in 10 games. He is expected to skate on the top line with Eric Staal and Elias Lindholm in Saturday’s game vs. the Canadiens.

Brock McGinn
The Sabres have recalled Cal O'Reilly from Rochester (AHL).

O’Reilly has registered three goals and 11 assists (14 points) in 21 games with Rochester this season. He could make his Sabres’ debut on Sunday and it would be the first NHL game he plays on a team with his brother Ryan O’Reilly.

Cal O'Reilly
Dubnyk is expected to start Saturday vs. Colorado.

Dubnyk stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the 1-0 shutout win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Dubnyk has won two in a row while turning aside 58 of the last 59 shots (.983 SV%) that he’s faced. Dubnyk now leads the NHL with four shutouts, he is also second in Wins (13) despite being 21st in SV% (.916) and 22nd in GAA (2.36). He will start tonight as long as his wife isn’t giving birth.

Devan Dubnyk
Johansson (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.

Johansson left the team’s afternoon practice in Winnipeg early, and Coach Barry Trotz said he would be a game-time decision for Saturday’s contest against the Jets. Stanislav Galiev skated in Johansson’s place on the second line, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how Washington’s lineup will look if Johansson misses the game.

Marcus Johansson
The Maple Leafs have recalled Antoine Bibeau from Toronto (AHL).

Bibeau, 21, has gone 6-3-0 with a 3.64 GAA and .869 SV% in 10 games with the Marlies this season. With James Reimer day-to-day with an injury and Jonathan Bernier in the minors on a conditioning stint, Bibeau has been recalled to serve as Garret Sparks backup for at least Saturday’s game.
