Kuemper will start Saturday vs. the Stars.

Kuemper hasn’t started since October 25th, when he was pulled after allowing four goals on 18 shots in a 5-4 loss to the Jets. In two starts this season, he is 0-0-1 with a 4.33 GAA and .891 SV%. His tough outings and limited playing time make him a terrifying start tonight vs. Dallas.

Darcy Kuemper
Gibson leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups

Gibson allowed three goals on 33 shots in the Ducks loss in Arizona on Wednesday. He has posted a .925 SV% in two games since being reacalled and will make his season consecutive start tonight vs. the Blackhawks. It is a tough matchup against a red hot Patrick Kane and company.

John Gibson
Hellebuyck leads the Jets onto the ice for warmups.

Hellebuyck, 22, was a fifth round pick (130th overall) in 2012. Hellebuyck was 2-7-1 with Manitoba (AHL) despite posting a 2.41 GAA and .927 SV% this season. There is a lot of hype surrounding the former UMass-Lowell goaltender, who appears to be in line to make his NHL debut in Minnesota.

Connor Hellebuyck
Parise (knee) has been activated from IR and is expected to play on Friday.

Parise, who missed the past eight games with a sprained knee ligament, was taken off injured reserve this morning. That should pave the way for his return this afternoon (3 p.m.) against the Winnipeg Jets. Parise, the team's leading goal scorer with seven when injured Nov. 5, took part in morning skates Saturday and Wednesday but practiced for the first time yesterday. He is expected to replace Christoph Bertschy in the lineup.

Zach Parise
Holtby gets the nod vs. the Lightning.

Holtby allowed three goals on 26 shots in the Capitals win over the Jets on Wednesday. Holtby has won five consecutive games while posting a 1.80 GAA, .932 SV% and one shutout. Holtby is red-hot and on Friday he faces a Lightning team at home, where he is 7-2-0 with a 1.99 GAA and .923 SV% this season.

Braden Holtby
Darling starts Saturday in Los Angeles.

Darling allowed two goals on 37 shots in the Blackhawks loss in Calgary last Friday. Corey Crawford started the last three games, but Darling will start the second game of the back-to-back tonight in Los Angeles. It will be Darling’s fourth road start of the season—he is 0-2-1 with a 3.36 GAA and .885 SV% in his first three.

Scott Darling
Rinne leads the Predators onto the ice for warmups.

Rinne allowed three goals on 19 shots in the Predators loss in New York on Monday. Carter Hutton was in goal on Wednesday, so it will be Rinne this afternoon in Philadelphia. Rinne has lost three straight while posting a 3.40 GAA and .841 SV%, but couldn’t draw a better matchup than the one he has this afternoon.

Pekka Rinne
Dubnyk will start Friday vs. the Jets.

Dubnyk allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Wild’s win vs. the Canucks on Wednesday. Dubnyk has lost four of his last five games while posting a 2.83 GAA and .909 SV%. The Wild have a back-to-back on Friday and Saturday, but Friday’s 3 p.m ET start could make it possible for Dubnyk to start both games.

Devan Dubnyk
Niemi starts in goal vs. the Canucks.

Niemi was pulled after allowing five goals on 16 shots in the Stars loss to the Senators on Tuesday. With Kari Lehtonen out with an upper-body injury, Niemi will start tonight vs. the Canucks. Niemi has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.70 GAA and .891 SV% in five starts this month. Tonight he faces the Canucks for the second time this season—he stopped 29 of 32 in a 4-3 OT win in the first meeting.

Antti Niemi
Varalmov will start on Saturday.

Varlamov was pulled after allowing three goals on 15 shots in the Avs’ loss to the Senators on Wednesday. Despite the rough outing, the Avalanche will stick with Varlamov tonight vs. the Jets. In his first game back from injury, he stopped 20 of 21 in a win in Winnipeg, so the matchup shouldn’t scare you.

Semyon Varlamov
Neuvirth will start Friday vs. the Predators.

Neuvirth allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Flyers win over the Hurricanes on Monday. Steve mason has started six of the last seven games, but Neuvirth will go today vs. Nashville. It will be his fifth start at the Wells Fargo Center—he has gone 3-1-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .955 SV% at home so far.

Michal Neuvirth
Allen starts Saturday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Allen allowed four goals on 34 shots in the Blues loss in Pittsburgh on Wednesday. Tonight he will be his 11th start of November, he has gone 6-2-2 with a 2.17 GAA and .928 SV% in his previous 10 outings. He has been great this season, specifically at home, where he is 5-2-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .928 SV%.
