Ramo will be in goal on Tuesday vs. the Panthers.

Ramo allowed two goals on 25 shots in the Flames win over the Penguins on Saturday. Since returning from the AHL, Ramo has gone 3-1-0 with a 2.99 GAA and .897 SV%. His numbers aren’t pretty but the results are there. He draws a strong matchup tonight vs. a Panthers team that has lost five in a row while averaging only 1.40 goals per game.

Karri Ramo
Ward is the Hurricanes likely starter.

Ward allowed two goals on 21 shots in the Hurricanes win over the Senators on Saturday. It looks like he will make his second straight start and will man the goal for the fourth time in five games tonight in New York. He has a solid 2.40 GAA and .907 SV% this season, but makes for a risky start vs. the Rangers.

Cam Ward
Niemi was the first goalie off of the ice at the morning skate.

Niemi allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Stars loss in Toronto on November 2nd. Kari Lehtonen has started the last three games, but Niemi will start tonight vs. the Maple Leafs. Niemi has posted a 2.77 GAA and .908 SV% in nine games this season. He lost to them eight days ago, but Niemi should be a great start at home vs. the Leafs.

Antti Niemi
Bolland (hand) will be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Bolland has missed the last two games with a hand injury, but it looks like he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Flames. With Bolland likely returning to the lineup, Shawn Thornton will take a seat.

Dave Bolland
Johnson starts Tuesday vs. the Lightning.

Johnson stopped all 10 shots that he faced after replacing Linus Ullmark in Buffalo’s loss to Tampa Bay last Thursday. Ullmark has started the last four games, but Johnson will start tonight in Tampa Bay. The Lightning have surprisingly lost six of eight while averaging just 1.38 goals per game.

Chad Johnson
Vasilevskiy will start on Tuesday vs. Buffalo.

Vasilevskiy stopped 30 of 31 shots in the Lightning’s 4-1 win in Buffalo last Thursday. Vasilevskiy has won his first two starts with the Lightning while stopping 62 of 66 shots (.939 SV%) that he’s faced. Tonight he is a must-start as he goes up against the Sabres again. If he continues to play well, he will continue to split time with Ben Bishop.

Andrei Vasilevskiy
Luongo will start Tuesday vs. the Flames.

Luongo allowed four goals on 35 shots in the Panthers loss in Los Angeles on Saturday. Luongo has won three in a row while allowing a combined nine goals on 104 shots (.913 SV%). He has struggled recently and will take on a Flames team that is turning it around—Calgary has won three of four while averaging 3.75 goal per game.

Roberto Luongo
Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off of the ice for the Lightning.

Luongo is expected to get the nod on Tuesday.

Neuvirth will make his fourth straight start.

Neuvirth stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Flyers 3-0 shutout win over the Jets on Saturday. Neuvirth now leads the NHL with three shutouts. He has three wins, three shutouts, not bad. Neuvirth comes into play with a 1.81 GAA and .945 SV% in eight outings and draws a strong matchup tonight. The Avalanche have lost four of five, but have averaged 3.00 goals per game over that span.

Michal Neuvirth
Bobrovsky will start Tuesday vs. the Canucks.

Bobrovsky allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Blue Jackets win in Los Angeles last Thursday. Bobrovsky has won two in a row while stopping 72 of 76 shots (.947 SV%). Bobrovsky’s season is starting to come together under head coach John Tortorella. He makes for a decent start tonight against a Canucks team who have lost three in a row.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Hutton (undisclosed) will miss at least the next three games.

Hutton was placed on IR on Monday and will miss at least three games this week, but the Predators do not have a back-to-back so look for Pekka Rinne to start all three. With Hutton out, the Predators have recalled Marek Mazanec.

Carter Hutton
Schneider is in the starter's net this morning.

Schneider allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Devils win over the Blackhawks last Friday. Keith Kinkaid got the nod on Sunday, so Schneider will be back in goal tonight vs. the Blues. Schneider has won three of his last four while posting a 1.72 GAA and .940 SV%. However, he is a risky start vs. a red-hot Blues team.

Cory Schneider
Neuvirth is likely starting on Tuesday.

The Sharks recalled Melker Karlsson from San Jose (AHL) on Monday.

Karlsson missed the start of the season with a lower-body injury, but has recorded two assists in four games since returning from his injury. Karlsson, who was the Sharks’ rookie of the year last season, skated with Tommy Wingels and Matt Nieto on the third line in Monday’s practice, so look for him to make his season debut on Tuesday.

Melker Karlsson
Smith is likely to start in the second game of the back-to-back.

Smith was pulled after allowing three goals on 17 shots in the Coyotes’ 4-1 loss to the Rangers last Saturday. Anders Lindback got the start last night, so it looks like Smith will start tonight in Los Angeles. Smith has been horrible recently—he has lost three of four while recording an ugly 5.20 GAA and .827 SV%.
