Halak will start in goal against the Penguins.

Halak allowed five goals on 27 shots in the Islanders 5-4 loss to the Flyers on Tuesday. He allowed a leaky goal late in the third to lose the game. Halak has gone 2-1-0 with a 2.01 GAA and .933 SV% in his previous three starts against the Penguins.

Fleury starts on Friday vs. the Islanders.

Fleury allowed four goals on 44 shots in the Penguins 4-3 OT loss to the Senators on Tuesday. He will the chance to clinch a playoff spot tonight with the Islanders in town. So far this season Fleury has gone 1-1-1 with a 3.26 GAA and .904 SV% in three starts against the Islanders.

The Jets have recalled Connor Hellebuyck from St. John's (AHL).

Hellebuyck, 21, has gone 28-22-5 with a 2.58 GAA and .921 SV% in 58 games in his first season with St. John’s. He could make his NHL debut on Saturday to give Michael Hutchinson and Ondrej Pavelec the day off, or he might just be here as the third goalie heading into the playoffs.

Perreault is questionable for Saturday’s game after leaving Thursday’s contest with a lower-body injury. With the Jets in the playoffs, they will likely rest Perreault to get him ready for the postseason.

Quick made 37 saves on 38 shots in the Kings shootout loss to the Canucks on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but he is obviously expected to get back in tonight in Calgary. In his first four starts against the Flames this season, Quick has gone 1-1-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .869 SV%.

Rinne allowed three goals on 23 shots in the Predators loss in Colorado on Tuesday. Rinne has lost his last three starts while posting a 3.53 GAA and .847 SV%. Tonight he will be making his fifth start of the season against the Wild—he has gone 2-1-1 with a 3.01 GAA and .895 SV% in the first four contests.

Doan (upper-body) will not play on Thursday.

Doan suffered an upper-body injury on Tuesday and was forced from the game. He was able to participate in the morning skate, but did not take part in line rushes and will be held out of the lineup tonight. Henrik Samuelsson has been recalled and will play in Doan’s spot.

Crawford is the Blackhawks confirmed starter.

Crawford surrendered two goals on 30 shots i the Blackhawks loss to the Wild on Tuesday. He has dropped two in a row while allowing four goals on 63 shots (.937 SV%). Tonight is his third start against the Blues this season—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.02 GAA and .933 SV% in the first two.

Quick is expected to start on Thursday.

Quick made 37 saves on 38 shots in the Kings shootout loss to the Canucks on Monday. He was given Tuesday night off, but he is obviously expected to get back in tonight in Calgary. In his first four starts against the Flames this season, Quick has gone 1-1-2 with a 2.67 GAA and .869 SV%.

Smith allowed three goals on 32 shots in the Coyotes 3-2 loss to the Flames on Tuesday. Smith has lost three of his last four games while posting a 2.81 GAA and .930 SV%. Tonight he will get his fourth crack at the Canucks—he has gone 1-2-0 with a 3.30 GAA and .909 SV% in the first three meetings.

Miller (knee) will be Eddie Lack's backup on Thursday.

Miller has been sidelined with a knee injury since February 22nd and it was believed that he wasn’t going to be able to return until the playoffs, but he will be back as Eddie Lack’s backup tonight vs. the Coyotes. It remains to be seen if he will start in the season finale on Saturday vs. the Oilers.

Lack will be in goal vs. the Coyotes.

Lack made 36 saves on 37 shots in the Canucks win over the Kings on Monday. Ryan Miller will return as Lack’s backup tonight and since Miller went down with a knee injury, Lack has gone 11-7-2 with a 2.56 GAA and .921 SV%. He draws a phenomenal matchup against a Coyotes team who has lost four of five.

Eddie Lack
Pavelec will start in Colorado.

Pavelec stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Jets 1-0 shutout win over the Blues on Tuesday. He has won three in a row and has posted back-to-back shutouts, stopping the last 62 shots that he has faced. Tonight will be his fourth start vs. the Avalanche—in the first three games, he has gone 2-0-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .909 SV% in the first three.
