Jenner (back) will travel on the Blue Jackets upcoming road-trip.

Jenner has been out since December 18th, but he took part in the Blue Jackets practice this morning, including line rushes, which is a great sign he is nearing a return. He will travel with the team to Western Canada and should return to the lineup at some point during the trip.

Boone Jenner
Hammond will get the nod for the Senators.

Hammond made 27 saves on 28 shots in the Senators shootout win over the Flyers on Sunday. His incredible streak continued—he comes into play on Tuesday at 10-0-1 with a 1.39 GAA and .955 SV% in his first 11 NHL starts. The only team he has had a tough time with was in his first NHL experience vs. the Hurricanes—they scored two goals on five shots in just over a period.

Andrew Hammond
Quick leads the Kings onto the ice for warmups.

Quick allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Kings loss to the Predators on Saturday. Tonight will be his eighth straight start—Quick has gone 4-2-1 with a 2.07 GAA and .903 SV% in his preious seven starts. He has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .912 SV% against the Coyotes this season.

Jonathan Quick
Hall (ankle) returned to practice on Monday; no timetable for his return.

Hall skated in a full team session for the first time since early February. Hall was unable to provide a timeline for his return, but he said he is feeling better. He is going to continue to skate and see how his ankle responds before his return is imminent.

Taylor Hall
Holtby will start Monday vs. the Sabres.

Holtby stopped all 32 shots that he faced in the Capitals 2-0 shutout win over the Bruins last night. It was a nice bounce-back performance for Holtby, who draws an excellent matchup vs. the Sabres. Holtby is 1-3-1 with a 3.05 GAA and .898 SV% on no rest this season.

Braden Holtby
Hornqvist (undisclosed) will miss one week.

Hornqvist suffered an unspecified injury in the Penguins 5-1 loss to the Red Wings on Sunday. He dropped his stick and appeared to be in visible pain while leaving the ice, but he didn’t even appear to take any contact prior to dropping his lumber. Hornqvist is expected to miss all three games this week.

Patric Hornqvist
Malkin (lower-body) will miss 7-14 days.

The Penguins announced this morning that Malkin might join the team on their road trip, but then GM Jim Rutherford dropped a fantasy hockey playoff bomb when he announced that Malkin will miss 1-2 weeks. The Penguins have been outscored 7-1 in two games without Malkin.

Evgeni Malkin
Burrows (groin) will play on Tuesday.

Burrows missed Saturday’s game against the Maple Leafs, but will be back tomorrow vs. the Flyers. Burrows was skating with Brad Richardson and Chris Higgins this morning, so expect him to be on that third line tomorrow. He has 25 points (12G / 13A) in 56 games this season.

Alexandre Burrows
Smith gets the start on Monday in Los Angeles.

Smith allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Coyotes loss to the Devils on Saturday. He has lost three in a row while registering a 2.37 GAA and .935 SV%. He was pulled after allowing three goals on 20 shots in a 4-0 loss in his first start against the Kings.

Mike Smith
Bernier gets the nod vs. the Oilers.

Bernier allowed three goals on 34 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Canucks on Saturday. Bernier has gone 2-3-1 with a 3.49 GAA and .905 SV% in six starts in March. He draws a very good matchup tonight vs. the lowly Oilers—Bernier has gone 5-10-5 with a 2.41 GAA and .923 SV% on the road this season.

Jonathan Bernier
Crawford will be in goal for the Blackhawks on Tuesday.

Crawford allowed two goals on 35 shots in the Blackhawks 6-2 win in San Jose on Saturday. Crawford has gone 5-0-1 with a 1.16 GAA, .962 SV% and one shutout in his last six games. Crawford has been red-hot and tonight he takes on an Islanders team on a slide—New York has lost three in a row and six of their last eight games.
