Price has won three in a row, while posting a 1.31 GAA and .951 SV%. He made 24 saves in a 4-3 win in his first start vs. Toronto.
Halak allowed two goals on 34 shots in the Islanders win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. He has won each of his last four starts with a 1.96 GAA and .918 SV%. He will make his first start of the season vs. the Blue Jackets—Halak has gone 17-5-0 with a 2.41 GAA and .914 SV% at home.
Bernier allowed three goals on 41 shots in the Maple Leafs 3-2 loss to the Islanders on Thursday night. He has gone 0-7-1 with a 2.92 GAA and .907 SV% in his last eight starts and has not registered a win since January 9th. He allowed four goals on 32 shots in a 4- 3 loss in his only start vs. the Habs.
With MacDonald out because of the death of his grand moth, Carlo Colaiacovo was in the lineup. MacDonald is expected to be back for Sunday’s game vs. the Sabres.
Hemsky suffered a lower-body injury in the first period which forced him to miss the remainder of the game. Head coach Lindy Ruff said Hemsky will “miss some time”, which means that the Stars will need to recall a forward from Texas (AHL).
Eaves was hit in the head by a shot from teammate John Klingberg. He was down the ice for a few minutes before being helped to the locker room. Eaves was then taken to the hospital for x-rays. Coach Lindy Ruff said he should know more on Saturday but it looks like Eaves is going to “miss some time.”
Seguin left Friday’s game with a lower-body injury with just seven minutes left in the game. He was hit around the knees by Panthers defenseman Dmitry Kulikov and had to be helped off of the ice. Seguin will be re-evaluated on Saturday and the Stars should release more information after that.
Talbot allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Rangers win in Colorado on Thursday. After losing two in a row, he has won back-to-back despite allowing seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). He has a nice matchup tonight in Arizona—the Coyotes are on the tail-end of a back-to-back and have lost four of five.
Roberto Luongo has not started on back-to-back nights this season, so coach Gerrard Gallant will turn to Montoya like he has all season long. Montoya made 32 saves in the Panthers 4-2 win over the Islanders in his last start. He enters play in Dallas with a 3-2-2 record, 3.03 GAA and .892 SV% on the road this season.

Despite losing four in a row and allowing 10 goals in his last two starts, the Avalanche will go with Varly again today vs. Dallas. He is 2-0-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .931 SV% vs. the Stars this season and they will likely be without Tyler Seguin tonight.
Rask stopped 20 of 21 after replacing Niklas Svedberg on Tuesday vs. Dallas. So much for a night off for Rask, who looks like he will start tonight in Vancouver. Post All Star break, Rask has gone 3-3-0 despite posting a 1.79 GAA and .949 SV%. The Bruins are in Vancouver tonight, Rask has gone 7-7-3 on the road this season.
