Varlamov will start Saturday vs. the Lightning.

Varlamov turned aside 30 of 32 shots in Colorado’s 4-2 victory over the Panthers on Thursday. Varlamov has won four of his last five starts with a 1.82 GAA and .955 SV%. He is red-hot right now, but draws a rough matchup in Tampa Bay. The Lightning continue to pace the NHL with a 3.22 goals per game.

Semyon Varlamov
Stepan (upper-body) will play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets.

Stepan missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury that he suffered on Tuesday, but he will play tonight. J.T Miller will be a healthy scratch and Stepan will skate in his usual spot between Chris Kreider and Martin St. Louis. Stepan has six goals and 21 assists (27 points) in 28 games this season.

Derek Stepan
Miller leads the Canucks onto the ice for warmups.

Miller stopped all 30 shots that he faced in the Canucks shutout win over the Flyers last night. After only starting one game in the previous 11 days, Miller is fresh enough to get starts on back-to-back nights. He should make for a good start tonight in Carolina.

Ryan Miller
Beleskey will return to the lineup on Friday.

Beleskey served as a healthy scratch in Wednesday's game, but he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Devils. He is second on the team in goals (behind Corey Perry) with 17. He will skate on a line with Rickard Rakell and Devante Smith-Pelly.

Matt Beleskey
Hutchinson will be in goal on Friday vs. Chicago.

Hutchinson allowed two goals on 27 shots in the Jets win over the Panthers on Tuesday. He was given last night off, but it is his turn in the rotation so he will draw the tough assignment of taking on the Hawks in Chiago tonight. He is an impressive 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .986 SV% vs. the Blackhawks this season.

Michael Hutchinson
Ortio will make his third straight start on Saturday.

Ortio stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Flames 4-1 win over the Coyotes on Thursday. Since being recalled from Adirondack he has gone 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .984 SV% and one shutout. He will make his third straight start tonight in San Jose—the Sharks are 5-5-0 in their last 10 games.

Joni Ortio
Bobrovsky will be in goal for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 31 shots in Wednesday’s loss to Montreal. Bobrovsky’s success in December has not carried over to January—he is 1-4-0 with a 4.25 GAA and .874 SV% in five starts in 2015. Tonight he will make his second start of the year vs. the Rangers, he made 24 saves in a 5-2 win back in October.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Rendulic is out indefinitely with a broken leg.

Rendulic suffered a broken leg in the first period of Colorado’s win in Florida last night. The 22-year-old had just two points (1G / 1A) in 11 games this season. He will not see the ice for at least one month.

Borna Rendulic
Andersen is likely to start on Saturday.

Andersen stopped all 28 shots that he faced in the Ducks 4-0 win over the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. He was given last night off, but is expected to start tonight in Los Angeles. Andersen has won four straight while posting a 2.41 GAA and .924 SV%. In two games against the Kings, he has allowed six goals on 47 shots (.872 SV%).

Frederik Andersen
Bryzgalov will be in goal for game-1 of the Ducks back-to-back.

Bryzgalov allowed three goals on 29 shots in the Ducks loss to the Rangers on last Wednesday. He is 0-2-0 with a 4.91 GAA and .836 SV% in three appearances with Anaheim this season. He draws a strong matchup vs. the Devils, but still needs to show improvement before he can be trusted in fantasy circles.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Downie (head) will play on Friday.

Downie left Tuesday’s game after being elbowed in the head by Wild defenseman Ryan Suter. He was able to practice the last few days and was on the ice for the morning skate, so he is good to go. He has two goals and one assist in hike last five games since returning from mumps.
