Andersen leads the Ducks onto the ice for warmups.

Andersen stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Ducks win over the Flames on Tuesday. He has won his last three starts while allowing just six goals on 89 shots (.933 SV%). He could get back-to-back starts with the Ducks in San Jose tomorrow. He draws a tough matchup today vs. the Hawks.

Frederik Andersen
Johnson starts in goal vs. the Capitals.

Johnson allowed four goals on 30 shots in the Islanders win over Pittsburgh last Friday. He has a 3.34 GAA and .876 SV% in eight outings this season. The Islanders are hot right now and he has an OK spot-start matchup vs. the Capitals.

The Canucks have recalled Nicklas Jensen from Utica (AHL).

Jensen, 21, has collected 11 points (6G / 5A) in 15 games with the Comets this season. He currently ranks tied for fourth on Utica in scoring. Jensen has appeared in 22 career NHL games, recording six points (3G / 3A) and 10 penalty minutes.

Nicklas Jensen
Mitchell (leg) is expected to return to the lineup on Saturday.

Mitchell has missed the last three games with a leg injury that he suffered last Thursday. He was on the ice for Avalanche practice on Friday and Paul Carey was sent back to the AHL, both signs that Mitchell should be back tomorrow vs. Dallas.

John Mitchell
Johnson (head) is expected to play on Saturday.

Johnson missed Wednesday’s game with a head injury, but he has back on the ice for Avs’ practice on Friday and should play tomorrow. Karl Stollery, Johnson’s replacement on Wednesday was sent back to the AHL which is another indicator that he will play tomorrow vs. Dallas.

Erik Johnson
Scrivens the Oilers projected starter.

Scrivens was yanked after he allowed five goals on 13 shots in the blowout loss to the Blackhawks last Saturday. He has watched Viktor Fasth start the last two, but it looks like he will get the nod tonight vs. the Blues. He has a 3.35 GAA and .887 SV% behind a shaky blue line, so he should be avoided tonight in St. Louis.

Ben Scrivens
Kuemper starts in goal for the Wild.

Kuemper was pulled after allowing four goals on 10 shots in the Wild’s loss to Los Angeles on Wednesday. Despite the brutal outing, the Wild will give Kuemper a chance to bounce-back tonight in Dallas. In his first two starts of the season against the Stars, he is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .958 SV%.

Brendan Shinnimin
Eric Tangradi will make his Canadiens debut on Friday.

Tangradi was acquired for Peter Budaj before the start of the season and served as a healthy scratch for the first 23 games of the season. He will skate on the fourth line with Manny Malhotra and Dale Weise.

Eric Tangradi
Elliott (lower-body) will miss at least two weeks.

Elliott is listed as week-to-week but now we know he will miss at least 14 days which means he will likely miss at least the next seven games. Jake Allen is expected to get the bulk of if not all of the starts while Elliott is out. Martin Brodeur started practicing with the Blues today and could be signed to back-up Allen.
