Pirri skating on the Panthers top-line on Tuesday.

Pirri had two shots in 15:44 TOI in his return to the Panthers lineup on Monday. He centred the third line last night, but is skating with Nick Bjugstad and Jonathan Huberdeau on the Panthers’ top-line this morning. He had three goals in three games before being injured and the move to the top-line should give him more scoring opportunities. He is someone worth keeping an eye on in deep leagues.

Brandon Pirri
Bobrovsky confirmed to start for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky allowed four goals on 37 shots in Saturday’s 4-2 loss to the Flyers. Since returning from a broken pinky finger, Bob has gone 1-2-1 while posting a 3.20 GAA and .916 SV%—he has faced an average of 38.75 shots over that span. He faces a Jets team who have lost four of their last five.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Green (upper-body) not expected to travel to New York.

Green is not on the ice for practice Tuesday morning. Head coach Barry Trotz said on Monday that if Green doesn’t practice on Tuesday he likely won’t travel to Long Island for Wednesday’s game vs. the Islanders. Expect a full update following practice.

The Hurricanes have recalled Michal Jordan from Charlotte (AHL).

Jordan, 24, has not appeared in a game with the Hurricanes this season. In 15 games with Charlotte, the blue liner has recorded two goals and five assists. He will serve as the Hurricanes’ seventh defenseman with Brett Bellemore going on injured reserve.

Michal Jordan
Goloubef (knee) skates for a fourth straight day; nearing a return.

Goloubef has been sidelined with a knee injury since November 1st, but he has skated for four consecutive days and is likely close to being a full participant in Blue Jackets practice. Columbus added Jordan Leopold through trade and Kevin Connauton via waivers, so Goloubef might be heading back to Springfield (AHL) when he is healthy.

Cody Goloubef
Bobrovsky is expected to start for the Blue Jackets.

Ramo will start Wednesday vs. the Sharks.

Ramo surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Flames shootout victory over the Devils on Saturday. He has picked up the win in each of his last two starts and four times in eight outings. He has a 2.88 GAA and .898 SV% so far this year and is a risky start on Wednesday in San Jose.

Karri Ramo
Hiller will face his former team in Anaheim on Tuesday.

Hiller gave up four goals on 22 shots in the Flames loss to the Blackhawks on Thursday. He will face the Ducks for the second time in a week, he made 24 saves in a 4-3 win over Anaheim. Hiller is 5-3-0 with a 3.05 GAA and .884 SV% in the month of November.

Jonas Hiller
Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice for warmups.

Rask allowed two goals on 23 shots in a 2-0 loss to the Bruins on Saturday. He struggles vs. the Habs continued and things don’t get any easier with the Penguins in town. We are nearing the end of November and so far Rask is 6-2-0 with a 1.89 GAA and .933 SV% this month.

Tuukka Rask
Schneider will start Tuesday vs. Vancouver.

Schneider stopped all 29 shots that he faced in the Devils 2-0 win over the Oilers on Friday. On Saturday, he was finally given his first night off of the season. He will be back in goal on Tuesday against his former team in Vancouver. The Canucks have a strong offence, but this start should mean a little more to Schneider.

Cory Schneider
Garbutt (upper-body) is expected to play on Tuesday.

Garbutt was back at practice on Monday and it sounds like he is healthy enough to return to the lineup on Tuesday vs. the Oilers. Curtis McKenzie was sent back to the AHL to make room for Garbutt, who missed the last three games.

Ryan Garbutt
Shaw (upper-body) is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday.

Shaw has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury but should be back on Wednesday. He was reportedly close to returning on Sunday, but with Phillip Danault getting sent back to Rockford (AHL), it seems like a lock that Shaw will return.
