With Mike Green out, Kindl will be back in the Red Wings lineup for the first time since December 29th. Kindl has five points (2G / 3A) in 23 games with the Red Wings this season and three points (2G / 1A) in nine games with Grand Rapids (AHL).

Green is dealing with tweaked going and it will keep him out of the lineup on Monday. With Green out, Jakub Kindl will be in the lineup for Detroit. Consider Green as day-to-day.

Schneider allowed two goals on 29 shots in the Devils loss to Washington on Saturday. Schneider has gone 5-1-1 with a 1.70 GAA, .944 SV% and one shutout in his last seven outings. Tonight he will make his 45th start of the season and his third against the Rangers. The 29-year-old has gone 2-0-0 with a 1.46 GAA and .950 SV% in his first two starts vs. New York.



Greiss allowed two goals on 20 shots in the Islanders win over the Blue Jackets. Today will be his first start in the Islanders last eight games. Greiss is 7-3-2 with a 2.30 GAA and .925 SV% on home ice this season. He’ll face an Oilers team that lost 5-1 to the Habs on Saturday.

Scrivens turned aside 23 of 24 shots in the Canadiens win over the Oilers on Saturday. It was his first NHL win of the season and by far best performance of the season, which has earned him the nod on back-to-back days. He will be facing a Hurricanes team that has won three of four while scoring 4.00 goals per game.

Mason allowed two goals on 28s hots in the Flyers shootout loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Both Mason and Braden Holtby will start for the second straight day. Mason allowed five goals on 32 shots in a 5-2 loss in his first start vs. the Capitals. He has gone 6-7-2 with a 3.01 GAA and .907 SV% on the road this season.


Holtby allowed two goals on 24 shots in the Capitals win in New Jersey on Saturday. The Capitals mentioned potentially starting Holtby in both games of the back-to-back, but have now confirmed it. Holtby is 2-0-0 with a 1.92 GAA and .920 SV% since the All-Star break and has gone 1-0-1 with a 2.99 GAA and .885 SV% vs. the Flyers this season.
