Pavelec was pulled after he allowed four goals on 18 shots in a 4-2 loss to the Lightning on Friday. Pavelec's season has been a rollercoaster ride, but he has never been known for his consistency. He draws a rough matchup against a Colorado team who scored seven goals on Friday.

Murray will make his season debut tonight after rehabbing a knee injury that he suffered in the preseason. Murray was the second overall pick in the 2012 draft and is a tremendously talented offensive defenseman who has four goals and 17 assists in 66 carer NHL games. Expect him to be paired with James Wisniewski and play a big part on the Columbus power-play.

Percy had three assists in seven games in his brief stint with the Maple Leafs. He had served as healthy scratch in two out of the last four games. This should keep Jake Gardiner permanently.

Miller starts for the Canucks on Sunday.

Miller allowed a single goal on 32 shots in a win over the Blues on Thursday. It was a great bounce-back game after Miller was yanked on Tuesday. He has four wins in five attempts while posting a 2.71 GAA and .906 SV%.

The Blue Jackets sent Anton Forsberg back to Springfield (AHL).

Forsberg, 21, did not play in two games since being recalled by the Blue Jackets on October 19. He has gone 1-2-0 with a 2.36 goals-against average and .921 save percentage in three games with Springfield this season, stopping 82-of-89 shots faced. He is 4-2-0 with a 1.69 goals-against average and .940 save percentage in seven career AHL games since making his North American professional debut with the Falcons late in the 2013-14 season.

The Blue Jackets have activated goaltender Curtis McElhinney off Injured Reserve.

McElhinney suffered an upper body injury in his season debut at Ottawa on Oct. 18 after stopping 15-of-17 shots in 27 minutes vs. the Senators. The 31-year-old has compiled a 29-37-5 record, 2.98 goals-against average, .902 save percentage and four shutouts in 98 career NHL games. Last season, he went 10-11-1 with a 2.70 GAA, .909 SV% and one shutout in 28 games with Columbus.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 29 shots in a win over the Canucks in his return to the crease on Friday. The W was his first of the season and their should be many more to come. The Avalanche finally found their offence, putting seven on the board on Friday and it should continue today in Winnipeg.

Lindback allowed three goals on 32 shots in a loss to the Predators in his season debut on October 11th. Kari Lehtonen started the last five games so they will turn to Lindback tonight vs. the Islanders. New York is scoring a ton to start the season, so there are better spot-start options out there.

Rask allowed three goals on 34 shots in a win over the Sharks on Tuesday. He sat on Wednesday, so it is no surprise to see him back between the pipes tonight vs. the Leafs. It has been a rough start to the year for Rask, but he is a must-start regardless.
