Hiller leads the Ducks ono the ice for game 1.

Hiller stopped all 12 shots that he faced after replacing Frederik Andersen in the game 6 OT win over the Stars. Despite not a game in the first round, the Ducks will roll with Hiller in game 1 vs. the Kings after Andersen had a shaky six games. Hiller was 1-0-1 with a 0.96 GAA and .977 SV% vs. the Kings in the regular season.

Jonas Hiller
Carter (undisclosed) did not skate on Friday and his status for game 1 is unclear.

It is believed that Carter took the day off to rest some bumps and bruises after a physical seven-game series vs. the Sharks. Monitor Carter's status as pregame warmups start at 7:30 p.m ET. If he plays expect him to skate on the second line between Tanner Pearson and Tyler Toffoli.

Jeff Carter
Quick will start for the Kings in game 1 vs. Anaheim.

Quick stopped 39 of 40 shots to give the Kings the 5-1 win over San Jose in game 1 of the Western Quarterfinals. He finished the first round with a pedestrian 3.10 GAA and .914 SV%, but what those numbers don't tell you is that he had a 1.25 GAA and .963 SV% after the Kings fell behind three games to none. Quick was 0-2-1 vs. the Ducks in the regular season, but that is not a cause for concern. The Ducks goaltending situation is in a state of flux right now, so L.A has a big edge between the pipes.

Jonathan Quick
Price leads the Habs onto the ice and starts game 2.

Price stopped 48 of 51 shots in the 4-3 double OT win in game 1. He was sensational and the main reason why the Habs pulled out the W. The Canadiens can't expect to allow 50-plus shots and come away victorious on a regular basis, so look for them to make some adjustments to buckle down in their own end this afternoon.

Carey Price
Rask leads the Bruins onto the ice and he will start game 2.

Rask allowed four goals on 33 shots in the 4-3 double OT loss in game 1. Rask did not look all that comfortable on Thursday, but he will look to be better this afternoon so the Bruins can tie the series up. The Habs were able to get a lot of traffic in front of Rask, so expect that to be a reoccurring theme throughout this series.

Tuukka Rask
Heatley will play on the Wild's top power-play unit in game 1.

Head coach Mike Yeo has been impressed with Heatley in the first round and it has prompted him to move him to the top PP unit. Heatley had one goal and four assists in the only five games he played in the first round.

Dany Heatley
Lundqvist will be in goal for the Rangers on Friday.

Lundqvist turned aside 26 of 27 shots to send the Flyers packing in game 7. He had a 2.11 GAA and .919 SV% in the first round, which shows the Rangers have the edge in goal. However, the Penguins have Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and more who Lundqvist had a 2.88 GAA and .898 SV% against this season.

Henrik Lundqvist
Crawford will start for Chicago in game 1 vs. Minny.

Crawford stopped 35 of 36 in the 5-1 win that eliminated the Blues in game 6. Crawford wrapped up the round at 4-2 with a 1.98 GAA and .935 SV%. He comes into the second round having gone 2-2-0 with a 2.98 GAA and .886 SV% against the Wild this season. The Blackhawks catch a nice break with Ilya Bryzgalov being thrust back into the crease for game 1 due to an upper-body injury to Darcy Kuemper.

Corey Crawford
Brozgalov will start for the Wild in game 1 vs. the Blackhawks.

Bryzgalov stopped the only shot he faced after replacing Darcy Kuemper in the late stages of game 7. Bryz started the first three games of round 1 and went 1-2 with a 4.26 GAA and .826 SV%, before Kuemper took over. Bryzgalov will look to turn things around, but good luck against Blackhawks.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Orpik (lower-body) is doubtful for game 1 vs. the Rangers.

Orpik did not take part in the Penguins morning skate so it looks like he will miss his third straight game with a lower-body injury. Head coach Dan Bylsma did not disclose any lineup information, but from the looks of things, Robert Bortuzzo should be in for Orpik.

Brooks Orpik
Fleury will be in goal for the Penguins in game 1.

Fleury allowed three third period goals but made 24 saves as the Penguins held onto a 4-3 win in game 6 over the Blue Jackets. Fleury finished 4-2 with a 2.81 GAA and .908 SV% in the first round, but will now take on the Rangers, who he was 2-1-1 against in the regular season.

Marc-Andre Fleury
Paille (head) returned to the Bruins lineup in game 1.

Paille played 16:27 with two shots, four hits and a minus-1 rating in the Bruins' 4-3 OT loss to the Habs last night. Paille had missed the previous six games with a head injury he suffered in the second last game of the season. Paille said that he felt good, but rusty on Thursday. Game 2 goes Saturday afternoon at 12:30.
