

Korpisalo allowed four goals on 27 shots in the Blue Jackets loss in Dallas on Tuesday. He has allowed a combined six goals on 56 shots (.893 SV%) to start his NHL career. With Curtis McElhinney losing on Thursday, the Blue Jackets will go back to Korpisalo tonight vs. Philadelphia. Philly comes in have won three of four.




Elliott allowed three goals on 28 shots in the Blues loss to the Flyers on December 10th. Elliott has fallen way behind Jake Allen in terms of starts, but will go today vs. the Flames. Elliott has lost his last three starts, but has posted a solid 1.98 GAA and .933 SV%. He has been unlucky this season and today he draws a tough matchup vs. a surging Flames team that has won seven straight games.

Ramo turned aside 35 of 36 shots in the Flames win in Dallas on Thursday. Ramo has suddenly won five straight games while posting an impressive 2.14 GAA and .930 SV%. He has been red-hot but today he’ll face another quality opponent—St. Louis comes in having won three of four while outscoring their opponents 10-5.

Rask stopped all 34 shots in the Bruins 2-0 shutout win over the Penguins on Wednesday. Rask has been superb as of late, winning four in a row with a 0.50 GAA, .982 SV% and two shutouts. Coming off of a shutout vs. the Penguins, he should make for an excellent start tonight in Pittsburgh.



Holtby stopped 26 of 27 shots in the Capitals win over the Senators on Wednesday. Holtby has won three in a row, allowing just three combined goals on 108 shots (.972 SV%). Tonight he will start against a banged up Lightning team that he beat last Saturday, stopping 35 of 36 shots. He is a must-start any night he gets the call—he comes in with wins in 11 of his last 12.

Stalock allowed one goal on 19 shots in the Sharks loss in Calgary on December 8th. Stalock has lost his last two starts while allowing a combined five goals on 39 shots (.872 SV%). Overall the 28-year-old is 2-4-0 with a 2.95 GAA and .891 SV% on the season. Tonight he will face a Sens team that has lost three of four while averaging 2.00 goals per game.



Hellebuyck allowed four goals on 26 shots in the Jets loss to the Blues on Tuesday. After winning his first four NHL starts, Hellebuyck has dropped his lsat two games while allowing a combined six goals on 57 shots (.895 SV%). Tonight it looks like he will face a Rangers team on a back-to-back, who come in having lost six of their last eight.


Dubnyk allowed two goals on 23 shots in the Wild’s 5-2 win over the Rangers on Thursday. The Wild are playing very well right now and their goalies are not having to work very hard. Dubnyk is 3-0-0 with a 0.85 GAA and .968 SV% in December and tonight will be his third start of the season vs. Nashville—he has gone 1-1-0 with a 1.54 GAA and .936 SV% in the first two meetings.

Kinkaid allowed one goal on 11 shots in relief of Cory Schneider in the Devils’ 4-0 loss to the Islanders last Sunday. Schneider struggled on Thursday and Saturday offers an easy matchup, so they will turn to Kinkaid tonight. Kinkaid has gone 2-3-0 with a 2.55 GAA and .903 SV% this season and 1-1-0 on home ice.

Bishop made 25 saves on 26 shots in the Lightning’s win in Columbus on Monday. Andrei Vasilevskiy started on Tuesday, but they will go back to Bishop tonight in Washington. Bishop has gone 4-1-0 with a 1.48 GAA and .948 SV% in December and tonight he will make his second start vs. the Capitals—he gave up two goals on 20 shots in a 2-1 loss last Saturday.
