Luongo surrendered three goals on 35 shots in the Panthers loss in Pittsburgh on Tuesday. Lounging has had a strong start to the season, opening 2-2-1 with a 2.01 GAA and .941 SV%. Luongo has been facing a tonne of shots per game and that will likely continue tonight when he takes on Chicago—the Blackhawks are ninth in the NHL, averaging 31.7 shots per game.

Jones allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Sharks loss in New York on Monday. After allowing only two goals in his first four starts, Jones was brought back to earth in his latest start. He will look to get back to his winning ways tonight vs. his former team—he stopped 19 of 20 in a 5-1 win over the Kings on opening night.

Khudobin stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Ducks win over the Wild on Sunday. It was a great outing for Khudobin, who will start his second straight game because of it. He will need to be great with the Ducks anemic offence going up against Pekka Rinne.

Martin will miss his third straight game tonight but he did take part in the morning skate stayed on late, which suggests he is close to a return. Look for Martin to get back into the lineup on Saturday.

Lerg was sent down on Wednesday with the belief that Joonas Donskoi would be ready to play on Thursday, but Donskoi is unavailable, so Lerg has been recalled and will be in the lineup tonight.

Smith allowed three goals on 25 shots in the Coyotes loss in New Jersey on Tuesday. Smith started the season with three straight wins, but he has now lost his last three. Over the three-game losing streak, he has posted a 4.51 GAA and .871 SV%. He will be in tough tonight vs. Henrik Lundqvist and the Rangers.

Khudobin stopped 34 of 35 shots in the Ducks win over the Wild on Sunday. It was a great outing for Khudobin, who is expected to start his second straight game because of it. He will need to be great with the Ducks anemic offence going up against Pekka Rinne.

Couturier had to be helped off of the ice during the Flyers win over the Bruins on Wednesday. He was hit high by Bruins forward and former teammate Zac Rinaldo. Couturier may have suffered a concussion, which could keep him out of Saturday’s game vs. the Rangers. Monitor his status leading up to that contest.

Gardiner missed Wednesday’s contest against the Sabres and will not play on Saturday vs. the Habs. The Maple Leafs have not disclosed the nature or severity of his injury. Until more details are released, consider him day-to-day.

Bobrovsky gave up five goals on 33 shots in the Blue Jackets loss to the Maple Leafs last Friday. Curtis McElhinney started the last two games, but new head coach John Tortorella will go back to Bobrovsky tonight in Minnesota. Bob enters play at 0-5-0 with a 5.07 GAA and .835 SV% on the season.

Ramo posted a 4.38 GAA and .879 SV% in his first three starts of the season, clearly not the numbers the Flames were expecting when they signed him to a one-year, $3.8M contract this July. Ramo likely went unclaimed because of his high price tag, so he heads to the AHL. Jon Gillies has had a great start with Stockton, so Ramo could end up going from opening night starter to AHL backup.

Condon made 20 saves on 21 shots in the Canadiens win over the Senators on October 11th. It was an impressive NHL debut for the 25-year-old, who will make his second start tonight in Buffalo. It is a strong matchup for Condon, who makes for a strong spot-start option.
