Foligno will likely miss the final six games of the season after his right leg buckled early in Thursday’s 2-1 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

Foligno got tangled with St. Louis’ Roman Polak 1:58 into the game, causing his leg to bend awkwardly as he fell – but Sabres coach Ted Nolan said it wasn’t as bad as it appeared. “But he’s going to be out probably the rest of the year,” he told reporters in St. Louis. With winger Drew Stafford likely out again tonight in Detroit, the Sabres will need to recall someone from Rochester, Nolan said.

Doughty left Thursday's game with an upper-body injury and did not return.

Doughty was injured when he went for a hit on Sharks forward Tyler Kennedy mid-way through the first period. As of the time the team left the arena, it was not clear whether Doughty would travel with to Vancouver, where the Canucks will host the Kings on Saturday night. Expect an update later on Friday.

Drew Doughty
MacDonald in net for the Flames on Friday.

MacDonald allowed two goals on nine shots in relief of Joni Ortio on March 21st. He will get the start tonight in the second game of a back-to-back set for the Flames. They were victorious last night over the Lightning, and draw a strong matchup tonight vs. the Panthers. MacDonald has gone 4-4-1 with a 3.16 GAA and .881 SV% this season.

Bernier left Thursday's game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Bernier left eight minutes into the third period. He stopped 25 of 27 shots and left with a 3-2 lead intact. James Reimer who replaced Bernier allowed the game-tying goal, but the Leafs went on to win the contest 4-3 in OT. Bernier will undergo an MRI on Friday, no word if it is related to the groin injury that cost him five games in March.

Jonathan Bernier
Jones starts for the Kings.

Sorry everyone, big time technical issue on my end. Resolved now, but Jones is in goal vs. the Sharks. Enters play tonight at 11-5-0 with a 1.91 GAA and .933 SV% on the season. One of those 11 wins came vs. the Sharks, who he faces this evening.

Martin Jones
Iginla (lower-body) will be in the lineup on Thursday.

Iginla missed Wednesday's game against the Red Wings, but will be back in vs. the Maple Leafs tonight. Carl Soderberg is coming out for the birth of his child. Iginla has been on fire as of late. Iggy has 10 goals in his last 10 games and has a total of 30 goals and 61 points in 75 games this season.

Jarome Iginla
Johnson will start in goal for the Bruins.

Johnson stopped 31 of 33 shots in a win over the Capitals on Saturday. Johnson has won six in a row with crazy 1.33 GAA and .951 SV% and one shutout. He won his first start against the Maple Leafs this season. Not to mention they are on a terrible skid right now.

Chad Johnson
Moore (concussion) returns to the Rangers lineup on Thursday.

Moore missed the last six games with a concussion he suffered on March 21st. Moore returns just in time to replace Ryan McDonagh on the New York blueline. Moore will slide into McDonagh's spot with Dan Girardi and also pick-up some of his power-play minutes. "I'm 100 per cent, I feel great," said Moore. "No extra pressure without Mac in lineup, just a chance to play my game"

The Kings have recalled Linden Vey from Manchester (AHL).

This is Vey’s fourth re-call of the season. The 22-year-old rookie has appeared in 18 games for the Kings this season (his first in the NHL), recording five points (all assists) and zero penalty minutes. Vey will join the team in San Jose but will not play tonight.

Linden Vey
Lundqvist will start for the Rangers.

Lundqvist stopped 34 of 35 shots in a 3-1 win over the Canucks on Tuesday. King Henrik has been exceptional as of late, winning nine of his last 12 starts while holding his opponents to 1.83 goals per game. Tonight, features two of the NHL's top goalies right now with Lundqvist going head-to-head with Semyon Varlamov.

Henrik Lundqvist
Kane has been accused of an assault that allegedly occurred in Vancouver last summer.

A Vancouver-area resident, is seeking unspecified financial damages in a statement of claim filed last week in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. He alleges he was jumped by Kane one evening last August as he was walking home from a bar where he was working in promotions. He claims he suffered a concussion and numerous injuries to his head, neck, back, shoulders, chest, ribs and leg that are causing ongoing headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue and insomnia as a result.

Evander Kane
Fleury starts for the Penguins.

Fleury allowed four goals on 28 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes on Tuesday. Fleury closed out March on a tear, but turned in a joke of an outing on April Fools Day. Tonight, he will meet the Jets on the road. Away from Pittsburgh this season, Fleury has gone 14-12-2 with a 2.62 GAA and .903 SV%.

The Hurricanes have recalled Zach Boychuk from Charlotte (AHL).

Alex Semin and Drayson Bowman are both question marks for Thursday, so if neither of them is able to go, Boychuk will slide into the lineup. Boychuk has four points (1G / 3A) in nine games with the Hurricanes this season. He leads Charlotte with a 67 points (32G / 35A) in 62 games.

Zach Boychuk
Handzus (undisclosed) will not play on Thursday.

Handzus has served as the Blackhawks second line centre this season, so tonight vs. the Wild they will be without their top-2 centremen. Handzus is listed as day-to-day. He is much more helpful to the Hawks than he is to your fantasy squad. He has just 15 points (4G / 11A) in 56 games this season.

Stewart (ankle) skated Thursday for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in the second week of March.

Stewart was originally expected to miss the rest of the season, but now the Sabres are saying he will play again before season's end. He will not suit up tonight vs. his former team, but could be back on Sunday vs. the Flyers.
