Bobrovsky surrendered four goals on 34 shots in 5-2 loss to the Devils on Thursday. Bob put the Jackets in a hole early, allowing three goals 8:54 into the first period. He will look to get back on track this afternoon vs. the Panthers. He stopped 35 of 36 shots in a 4-1 win against Florida on February 2.

Clemmensen leads the Panthers onto the ice for warmups; he starts, not Thomas.

Clemmensen allowed a single goal on 18 shots after replacing Tim Thomas in a 5-1 loss to Carolina before the Olympic break. Clemmensen is 6-5-1 with a 2.94 GAA and .897 SV% on the season. He is not an ideal spot-start option against Sergei Bobrovsky and the Blue Jackets.

The Flames have recalled Chad Billins from Abbotsford (AHL).

With Chris Butler doubtful with a lower-body injury, the Flames have recalled Billins to serve as an extra defenseman in Edmonton tonight. Billins has two assists in two games with the Flames this season. While with Abbotsford he has recorded nine goals and 27 assists (36 points) in 52 games.

The Wild have sent John Curry back to Iowa (AHL).

Curry, 30, was recalled by Minnesota on Feb. 26 and did not appear in a game with the Wild. He is 7-5-2 with a 2.08 GAA and a .935 SV% in 15 games with Iowa this season.

Crawford starts vs. the Penguins in Stadium Series game.

Crawford gave up two goals on 24 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Rangers on Thursday. Crawford has won two of his last five starts with a 1.60 GAA an .947 SV% . Tonight he gets the call against the Penguins at Soldier Field. It is not a great matchup and the outdoor games bring an element of unpredictability. Tread with caution.

Rask gets the call in goal for the Bruins.

Rask allowed three goals on 27 shots in a loss to the Blues before the break. He started four of six games with Finland in Sochi, all while battling the flu. The Bruins gave Rask Wednesday night off, but he will get back between the pipes this afternoon vs. Washington. Rask enters play today with a 16-6-2 record, 1.81 GAA and .938 SV% at TD Garden this season.

Pavelec likely to start in goal vs. Nashville.

Pavelec surrendered two goals on 36 shots in a shootout win over the Coyotes on Thursday. Pavelec has a 2.35 goals against average and a .916 save percentage in 11 games under head coach Paul Maurcie. Those numbers are both much better than his career marks of 2.95 and .906. Tonight it looks like he will get the nod vs. the Predators in Nashville.

Holland has dress in 31 games with the Maple Leafs this season, he has recorded five goals and five assists (10 points). While with the Marlies he had three goals and one assist in four games.

Thomas expected to start for the Panthers.

Thomas surrendered five tallies on 32 shots it a 5-4 loss to the Capitals on Thursday. Thomas has struggled recently allowing 35 goals in his last 10 starts. 3.50 GA per game is not exactly what you should be looking for in a fantasy backstop. He appears to be in-line to get the call today vs. Columbus. He allowed four goals on 30 shots in a 4-1 loss to the Blue Jackets on Feb 1.

Holtby allowed four goals on 34 shots, but walked away with the win over the Panthers on Thursday. Holtby has now won his last three starts and five of his last six. However that streak could come to an end this afternoon as he gets the start in Boston against the 37-16-5 Bruins.

Nabokov allowed four goals on 22 shots in a 5-4 OT win over the Maple Leafs on Thursday. Despite not having John Tavares or Frans Nielsen, the Islanders were able to push five past a rusty-looking Jonathan Bernier. This afternoon, Nabby will face the Devils for the third time this season. In the first two contests he has gone 1-1-0 with a 2.42 GAA and .907 SV%.
