Haley has four goals and two assists in six games with the Barracuda this season. He comes back to the Sharks where he failed to record a point in his season debut. Haley will centre the fourth line with Matthew Nieto and Bryan Lerg on his wings.

Goldobin has one goal and one assist in five games in the AHL. Tonight he will play in his fourth game of the season for the Sharks, he has one goal in three games so far.

Kopitar left Tuesday’s game with an upper-body injury, but he said he felt fine after the game and will play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Kopitar has four goals in 12 games this season—three of which have come in the last six games.

Raymond had one assist in the last four games, but he will be a healthy scratch tonight vs. the Flyers. Overall he has one goal, one assist and a minus-4 rating in nine games this season.

Grant has been a healthy scratch in the last two games, but he will replace Raymond in the lineup tonight vs. the Flyers. Grant has three shots and a minus-3 rating in three games with the Flames.

Schneider stopped 32 of the 34 shots that he faced in the Devils loss in Brooklyn on Tuesday. Schneider has been great through his first nine starts, going 6-3-1 with a 2.16 GAA and .922 SV%. He won’t get a tonne of goal support this year, so he will need to be superb night in and night out if he’s going to win. He will be in tough tonight with the Blackhawks in town.

Drouin will miss his fifth straight games with a lower-body injury. He was on the ice for the gameday skate, but did not take part in line rushes, so he will sit again. Drouin remains day-to-day and his next chance to play is Saturday in Minnesota.

Paquette has missed the last five games with an ankle injury but he took part in the morning skate and it looks like he will return to the lineup on the Lightning’s third line. Monitor his status during the pre-game warmup.

Rask allowed five goals on 19 shots in the Bruins loss to the Stars on Tuesday. It was a tough outing for Rask, but the Stars are one of the NHL’s top offensive groups. Rask has won three of his last four starts while posting a 2.80 GAA and .896 SV%. He has another horrible matchup tonight vs. Washington—the Capitals have averaged 3.27 goals per game through four games.

Vasilevskiy gave up three goals on 35 shots in the Lightning’s win over the Hurricanes on Sunday. Vasilevskiy gave up a goal in the final second of the game, making the box score look worse than it should have. It was a great season debut for the Lightning’s No. 1A goaltender. Vasilevskiy is a must pick up and must-start tonight vs. the Sabres.

Green missed the last five games with an upper-body injury but practiced again on Thursday and there is a chance that he will play on Friday vs. the Maple Leafs. Monitor Green’s status during tomorrow’s morning skate. Green has two assists in seven games this season.

Bernier missed Monday’s game and his placement on IR is retroactive to last Saturday, meaning he is eligible to come off of IR on Saturday vs. the Capitals. Look for James Reimer to start on Friday vs. the Red Wings—Bernier is listed as day-to-day.

Colaiacovo will be replaced by Mike Weber because he is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Colaiacovo has one assist in six games.

Hartman had one assist in three games during his call-up, but has been reassigned to Rockford, which suggests that Marian Hossa, could return on Friday, but even if Hossa isn’t quite ready, Viktor Tikhonov has been waiting to get back into the lineup.

Ullmark stopped 29 of 30 shots in the Sabres win over the Islanders on Sunday. Ullmark appears to have wrestled the starting job away from Chad Johnson and tonight he will make his third consecutive start. Ullmark comes in having stopped 56 of 58 shots (.966 SV%) while winning two straight.

Holtby allowed five goals on 22 shots in the Capitals loss in New York on Tuesday. It was Holtby’s worst outing of the young season, but the Rangers will do that to a lot of goalies this season. Things do not get any easier for Holtby tonight, when he takes on a Bruins team that leads the NHL with 3.82 goals per games this season.

Halak made 23 saves on 24 shots in the Islanders win over the Devils on Tuesday. He got revenge for losing to New Jersey in his previous start and now he sits at 4-1-1 with a 1.65 GAA and .936 SV% on the season. He will be in tough tonight when he takes on his former team in Montreal—the Habs are second in the NHL in scoring, averaging 3.64 goals per game.

Berra allowed four goals on 28 shots in the Avs’ loss in Florida on October 27th. Semyon Varlamov has started the last five games, but Colorado will go back to Berra tonight on the second night of a back-to-back. Berra comes into play with a strong 1.79 GAA and .944 SV% in four appearances. However, he should be avoided with the Rangers in town.
