Detroit Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg is taking advantage of the NHL's charter to fly home Thursday.

Zetterberg, the captain of Team Sweden, pulled out of the Sochi Games last Friday after suffering a herniated disk. The Wings return to action a week from Wednesday. Zetterberg most certainly won't be available -- he is to see a specialist as soon as possible to determine if surgery is needed now or can wait.

Henrik Zetterberg
Price will start in Team Canada's Quarterfinal contest.

Price stopped 14 of 15 shots in a 2-1 OT win over Finland on Sunday. He has not seen a lot of rubber in Sochi thus far, but he has stopped 33 of the 35 (.943 SV%) shots that he has faced. He should be able to help Canada advance to the semis on Wednesday as they get set to take on the under-manned Latvian team.

Carey Price
Haugen starts in goal vs. Russia.

Haugen had a strong effort vs. Canada, but was pulled after allowing three goals on 13 shots vs. Finland. Overall he has stopped 45 of 51 shots (.882 SV%), Norway will need a much stronger effort than that if they are going to eliminate the Russians this morning.

Lars Haugen
Bobrovsky starts for Russia.

Bobrovsky stopped 31 shots during regulation and overtime in a 3-2 shootout loss to the United States on Saturday, his first start of the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Despite Semyon Varlamov posting a shutout on Sunday, it will be Bob who gets the call vs. Norway in Tuesday's elimination game. Russia will take on Finland on Wednesday if they get by Norway this morning.

Sergei Bobrovsky
Starkbaum starts elimination game vs. Slovenia.

Starkbaum was yanked after surrendering six goals on 31 shots in Friday's 6-0 loss to Team Canada. Despite the rough outing, Austria will turn to Starkbaum to get them through to the quarterfinals this morning. He will face a surprising Slovenia team.

Bernhard Starkbaum
Laco will start elimination game vs. the Czech Republic.

Laco will start his second straight game after having a fantastic performance on Sunday vs. Russia. He stopped all 36 shots in regulation and OT, but allowed two goals on two shots in the shootout. Slovakia had a disappointing loss to Slovenia, but Sunday's performance vs. the host nation proves they can still compete. Laco will go up against the 1-0-2-0 Czech Republic.

Jan Laco
Rask gets the call in goal vs. Canada.

Rask struggled in his first game in Sochi, he allowed four goals on 20 shots en route to an 8-4 win over Austria. He will be back in the cage vs. the all important game vs. Canada. A strong game this afternoon, will likely set him up to start the remainder of the tournament.

Tuukka Rask
Miller gets his first start for Team USA.

Miller will close out the preliminary round with his first start of the tournament. With Jonathan Quick going 2-0 in his first two starts, it probably paves the way for Quick to start in the elimination round games. Miller is 14-22-3 with a 2.74 GAA and .923 SV% with the Sabres this season.

Ryan Miller
Laco starts vs. Russia.

Laco gets the start over NHLers Jaroslav Halak and Peter Budaj in Slovakia's final game of the preliminary round. Laco has posted a 9-2-0 record with a 1.47 GAA and .942 SV% with Donbass HC of the KHL. He faces the tough task of trying to take down the Russians this morning.

Jan Laco
Pavelec gets the call in goal vs. Switzerland.

Pavelec stopped 18 of 20 shots in a 4-2 win over Latvia on Friday. The Czech were all over LAtvia and Pav was not ver busy, but his performance earned him a second start today vs. Switzerland. The Swiss sit at 1-1 after a 1-0 loss to the Swedes on Friday.

Ondrej Pavelec
Gudlevskis starts vs. Henrik Lundqvist and Sweden.

Gudlevskis, 21, will make his Olympics debut today vs. Sweden. He is 11-8-2 with a 2.69 GAA and .900 SV% with the Tampa Bay Lightning's AHL affiliate Syracuse Crunch. He will have a tough matchup against the 2-0 Swedes.

Kristers Gudlevskis
Barkov will miss the rest of the tournament after sustaining a knee injury during last night’s match-up against Norway.

As if Team Finland needed another offensive setback with an already depleted line up, they will have to rely on their secondary scoring as their only source of offensive production. Luckily for Finland, most of their scoring over the past 2 games of the tournament has come from their 2nd and 3rd lines, respectively.
