Despite the recent struggles, Ken Hitchcock has committed to Elliott as his number-1 guy, so he will stick with him tonight vs. Vancouver. Elliott has gone 12-7-1 with a 2.28 GAA and .912 SV% in 22 starts at home.

Varlamov allowed three goals on 38 shots in the Avs win over the Sabres on Saturday. The win snapped a three-game losing skid for Varlamov and pushed him to 7-1-1 with a 2.08 GAA and .936 SV% in March. Tonight he will look for revenge against the Oilers, who chased him from a game last Wednesday.


Luongo was scheduled to start on back-to-back nights, but he ended up getting held out because his previously injured shoulder was still bothering him, so the Panthers elected to give him the night off.

Since returning from a shoulder injury Luongo has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.96 GAA and .922 SV% in five starts. Bobby Lu has gone 0-2-0 with a 2.52 GAA and .919 SV% in his first two starts against the Senators this season.

Halak gave up three goals on 37 shots in the Islanders loss to the Kings on Thursday. Michal Neuvirth started on Saturday, so it will be Halak tonight vs. the Red Wings. Halak has lost four of his last five starts despite posting a 1.59 GAA, .945 SV% and one shutout. He will take on a Red Wings team who have gone 3-3-1 while averaging 3.00 goals per game in their last seven games.

Bellemore has been a healthy scratch for the last three games, but he will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Bruins. Bellemore has nine points (1G / 8A) in 43 games this season.
