It will be a much more difficult task than Friday, but he might not be a bad spot-start for people who are desperate for goalie numbers.

Quick stopped 25 of 26 shots in the Kings 2-1 shootout loss on Thursday. All of a sudden Quick has dropped four of his last five starts, despite posting a 2.35 GAA and .929 SV%. Tonight he faces a Canucks team who has the second most points in the NHL at 20 (10-4-0).

Miller allowed two goals on 36 shots in a 3-2 win over the Sharks on Thursday. Miller has won seven in a row and 10 of his 11 starts on the year, while posting a 2.20 GAA and .920 SV%. After a so-so season in 2013-14, Miller has been excellent in his first month with the Canucks.

Fleury stopped 34 of 37 shots in a 4-3 shootout win over the Jets on Thursday. He has been unreal lately, winning five in a row with a 1.18 GAA, .956 SV% and three shutouts. With Sunday off, it is no surprise it looks like the Pens will roll Fleury out there again. He is a must-start vs. the Sabres.

Peters gave up six goals on 30 shots in the Hurricanes loss to the Coyotes last Sunday. With Braden Holtby getting the call last night vs. the Blackhawks, Peters will be in goal tonight vs. his former team. The Hurricanes are on a four-game winning streak, but Peters could make for a nice spot-start because of the motivation to beat his former teammates.

Stalock stopped 13 of 15 shots, but walked away on the losing end of a 2-1 final on October 25th vs. Buffalo. Antti Niemi has played very well, which limited Stalock to four starts in the Sharks first 14 games. He is 1-2-1 with a 2.22 GAA and .924 SV% in the early part of the season.

Pavelec surrendered three goals on 35 shots in a shootout defeat against the Penguins on Thursday. Despite the loss, Pavelec is 2-0-1 with a 1.27 GAA and .959 SV% in three November starts. Tonight he gets the call in Ottawa—he has gone 3-1-1 with a 1.73 GAA and .937 SV% away from the MTS Centre.

Perry has missed the last two games and was not at Ducks’ practice on Saturday. He is struggling with the flu and it does not seem likely that he will play tomorrow vs. Vancouver. After Sunday, the Ducks are off until Wednesday, so there is a good chance he will be back for that clash with the Kings.

Fowler left Friday’s game with a lower-body injury, but head coach Bruce Bourdreau said that Fowler could play on Sunday. He is listed as day-to-day, which sounds worse than it is if he is a possibility for tomorrow. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.
