Despite only allowing three goals combined in his last two outings, saving 38 of 41 shots (.927 SV%), Thompson has lost two straight and hopes to return to the win column on Wednesday against the St. Louis Blues. The 28-year-old Thompson has been excellent between the pipes for the Capitals early in 2025-26, posting an outstanding 1.51 GAA and .935 SV% in eight games (5-3-0). The Capitals enter Wednesday's contest as -144 home favorites against a Blues team that has a disappointing 4-7-2 record.

Stolarz is expected to start vs. Utah on Wednesday.

The Maple Leafs are coming off an exciting come-from-behind 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins and will roll with Stolarz between the pipes on Wednesday against the Utah Mammoth. The 31-year-old Stolarz has won three straight contests and has improved his totals to a 3.12 GAA and .896 SV% in 10 games (5-4-1) after a rocky start to the season. The Maple Leafs enter Wednesday's contest as -149 home favorites against an exciting Mammoth team that is 9-4-0 this season.

The Kings will unsurprisingly turn to Kuemper to face off against Connor Hellebuyck and the Jets on Tuesday. Kuemper was tagged with a second straight loss in his last start, as he allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Devils on Saturday. The 35-year-old netminder owns an .891 SV% and a 3-3-3 record on the season. Kuemper and the Kings enter action on Tuesday at -130 on the money line.

Hellebuyck will start in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Hellebuyck will make his tenth start of the season when the Jets travel to Los Angeles to take on the Kings on Tuesday. The reigning Hart Trophy winner secured another victory in his last start, allowing three goals on 24 shots in a 6-3 win over the Blackhawks on Thursday. Hellebuyck carries a sparkling .921 SV% and 6-3-0 record into Tuesday night's matchup with the Kings, where the Jets enter action at +110 on the money line.

The 28-year-old Hanifin played 24:00 time-on-ice in the Golden Knights' season-opener and and is expected to play alongside Zach Whitecloud on the Golden Knights' second defensive pair.

With Adin Hill still sidelined with a lower-body injury, Schmid remains the go-to option for the Golden Knights, and he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 25-year-old Schmid has been serviceable when called upon, posting a 2.73 GAA and a .892 SV% in six games (5-1-0). The Golden Knights are 1-1-1 in their last three and enter Tuesday's contest as sizeable -192 home favorites against a Red Wings team with points in four of their last five (3-1-1).

Vasilevskiy will start in Colorado on Tuesday.

The Lightning will unsurprisingly turn to Vasilevskiy between the pipes when they travel to Denver to take on the Avalanche on Tuesday. Vasilevskiy turned in a stellar performance in his last start, allowing just one goal on 21 shots in a 2-1 overtime win over the Stars on Thursday. The former Vezina Trophy winner carries a 3-3-2 record and an .899 SV% into Tuesday night's matchup with the Avs, where the Lightning enter action at +125 on the money line.

Faksa (undisclosed) will not play against the Oilers on Tuesday.

Faksa showed no signed of an ailment in the Stars' most recent outing, playing 11:55 time-on-ice, but will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday when the team hosts the Edmonton Oilers. The 31-year-old Faksa is averaging 12:18 time-on-ice and has four points (1G / 3A) in 12 games this season.

Kochetkov missed the first month of the season with a lower-body injury, but was assigned to the Chicago Wolves (AHL) on a conditioning loan on Friday. The 26-year-old netminder stopped 22 of 23 shots in a win during his only conditioning start. Kochetkov posted a 2.60 GAA and .897 SV% in 47 appearances with the Hurricanes last season (27-16-3), and will make his Hurricanes’ season debut on Tuesday against the New York Rangers. The Hurricanes enter Tuesday's contest as slight -110 road favorites against the Rangers.

Vejmelka will start in Buffalo on Tuesday.

Utah is off to an impressive 8-4-0 start this season, but will be trying to snap a two-game losing skid (0-2-0) when Vejmelka tends the twine on Tuesday against the Buffalo Sabres. Vejmelka has struggled lately, posting a sub-.900 SV% in three of his last four games (2-2-0). The 29-year-old Czech goalie has a 2.79 GAA and .890 SV% in nine games this season (6-3-0). Utah enters Tuesday's contest as -133 road favorites against a 5-4-3 Buffalo team.

Annunen will start in Minnesota on Tuesday.

The Predators will hand Annunen just his third start of the season when they travel to Minnesota for their second game in as many nights on Tuesday. Annunen's last appearance came in a 3-2 loss to the Stars on October 26th, when he allowed three goals on 27 shots. The 25-year-old netminder has failed to impress over parts of two seasons in Nashville, posting an .884 SV% and a 9-13-1 record in 25 appearances. The Predators enter action on Tuesday at +185 on the money line.

Brazeau (upper-body) has been placed on IR.

Brazeau was off the an outstanding start to the season, scoring 12 points (6G / 6A) in 12 games. The 27-year-old journeyman was en route to proving he belongs in the NHL, but has been sidelined for the previous two games due to an upper-body injury and will miss at least one more after being placed retroactively on Injured Reserve.

Acciari was limited to two shifts last night, exiting the game in the first period after only 1:10 time-on-ice due to an upper-body injury. The 33-year-old bottom-six forward will be sidelined for at least a week after being placed on Injured Reserve. He has three points (0G / 3A) in 13 games this season.
