Brodeur starts on Tuesday vs. Philadelphia.

Brodeur allowed five goals on 24 shots in a loss to the Blackhawks on Friday. The loss moved him to 12-9-3 with a 2.36 GAA and .903 SV% heading into tonight's meeting with the Flyers. He is 1-1-0 with a 0.50 GAA and .977 SV% against Philly this season.

Martin Brodeur
"Bryzgalov starts tomorrow. The plan is to give him more starts until the break. We want to test him," said Oilers head coach Dallas Eakins.

Bryzgalov gave up three goals on 27 shots in a win over the Lightning on Sunday. The win snapped a three game losing streak, but it was the sixth time in his last eight starts he has allowed three-plus goals. He is now cemented as the Oilers starter despite his not-so-pretty 3-5-2 record, 3.11 GAA and .908 SV%. He is a scary start tonight vs. a very good Blues team.

Ilya Bryzgalov
Lehtonen starts for the Stars.

Lehtonen allowed two goals on 14 shots after replacing Dan Ellis in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Red Wings. Ellis looked extremely shaky in the first period, so there is no surprise to see Lehtonen start tonight. He carries a 11-4-2, 2.70 GAA and .917 SV% on the road heading into Long Island tonight.

Kari Lehtonen
Lundqvist gets the call in goal for the Rangers.

Lundqvist gave up five goals on 28 shots in a 5-2 loss to the Penguins on Friday. The entire Rangers team did not show up against Pittsburgh and saved it all for Saturday vs. the Maple Leafs when Cam Talbot was in net. Tonight he will face the Blue Jackets for the first time since he was pulled 11 minutes into their December 12 meeting.

The Wild have recalled Jonathan Blum from Iowa (AHL).

Blum has tallied 17 points (4G / 13A) in 31 games this season with Iowa. He is tied for first on the team in scoring and power-play goals with four. Blum has recorded 22 points (7G / 15A) and 20 PIMs in 91 career NHL games during three seasons with Nashville.

Jonathon Blum
The Wild have recalled Erik Haula from Iowa (AHL).

Haula has tallied 17 points (9G / 8A) in 24 games with Iowa this season. The 22-year-old is tied for first on the team in goals, scoring and power-play goals with four. Haula recorded an assist in his NHL debut on November 29 vs. Colorado and owns two assists and a plus-3 rating in 10 games with Minnesota this season.

Erik Haula
Thomas is expected to start against the Habs.

Thomas allowed four goals on 42 shots, but still walked away with a 5-4 shootout win on Saturday vs. Nashville. Thomas has really stabilized the Panthers crease posting a 10-10-2 record in 23 starts - in games not started by Thomas the Panthers are 6-10-4.

Price starts vs. the Panthers.

Price gave up four goals on 34 shots in a 4-3 OT loss to the Senators on Saturday. Price has struggled as of late allowing 13 goals in his last three starts. Despite his recent troubles, the Habs will turn to him again tonight vs. Florida. He enters play tonight with a 12-6-3 home record.

Carey Price
Harding (illness) has been placed on injured reserve.

The details to what has been ailing Harding have been extremely vague. Obviously you worry about it potentially being related to his multiple sclerosis, which would likely sideline him long-term. We will await an official word from the team.

Koivu (foot) has been placed on injured reserve.

Koivu was injured in Saturday's game after taking a shot to the foot. He has arguably been the Wild's best forward this season, so this is a huge loss for a team already without Josh Harding, Jared Spurgeon and Zach Parise. He is being re-evaluated today when a detailed report is expected to be released. For now he will miss a minimum of seven days. Erik Haula has been recalled.

Mikko Koivu
Lundqvist was the first goalie off at the Rangers' morning skate; expected to start.

Henrik Lundqvist
Okposo will be a game-time decision tonight because of the impending birth of his child.

Monitor Okposo's status at 6:30 pm EST when the Islanders hit the ice for pre-game warmups. If Okposo takes warmups he will be in the lineup. Josh Bailey (shoulder) returns to the lineup tonight, which would help ease some of Okposo's possible loss.

Kyle Okposo
Nabokov will be in goal for the Islanders.

Nabokov stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes. Nabby played well but was out-duelled by Anton Khudobin. He will return to the crease for his 10th start in the last 11 games and will face the Dallas Stars at home. He has yet to face the Stars, but is 3-5-5 with a 2.64 GAA and .911 SV% on Long Island.

Evgeni Nabokov
Clarkson who is day-to-day with a bruised foot, skated before his teammates but did not stay on with the main group.

Clarkson's absence at Leafs' practice makes his status for Tuesday's game cloudy. If he is able to participate in tomorrow's morning skate, then there is a good chance that he will play. Monitor his status Tuesday morning.

The rollercoaster of recall and reassignment continues for Justin Florek as he has been recalled on an emergency basis from Providence (AHL) this morning.

Florek was recalled on Saturday and played 10:14 while recording no points, he was then sent down on Sunday, but has yet again been recalled as the Bruins get set to embark on a three-game west-coast road trip.

Justin Florek
Luongo (lower-body) will have an MRI today.

Luongo did not dress on Sunday because of a lower-body injury that was believed to be suffered in a collision with Kings forward Dustin Brown on Saturday. The injury is presumably to his ankle or knee, so an MRI will reveal how serious an injury it is.

Roberto Luongo
Bishop left Sunday's contest with an apparent hand injury and did not return.

There is no word on the nature or severity of the injury and the Lightning are expected to update his status in the afternoon following x-rays. It would be a terrible loss for the Lightning if Bishop were to miss an extended period of time. Stay tuned.
