James Neal (upper-body injury) is not expected to resume practicing with the Penguins this week, Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said.

Neal missed a 10th consecutive game at Toronto. He has not played or practiced since Oct. 3, when he was injured in the regular-season opener against New Jersey. Neal is on the long-term injury list. That designation requires a player to miss at least 10 games and 24 days, so Neal is not even eligible to play until Monday night at Carolina — though, he will miss that contest, too.

Henrik Lundqvist missed his second straight game with an undisclosed injury but participated in the Rangers’ morning skate, his first full practice since playing in a 4-0 loss to the Devils on Oct. 19. He said he is improving but not as quickly as he’d like.

"I’m not going to hide it, I definitely want to play Monday," Lundqvist said. "That’s my goal but, at the same time, you have to be smart about it. It’s a long season."

Ducks have recalled center Peter Holland from AHL Norfolk.

Holland has three goals and one assist in five games with Norfolk this season. In 21 games with Anaheim last season he scored three times while adding two assists.

Peter Holland
Dustin Penner has been symptom free for several days and will join the team in Columbus.

Penner ranks third on the Ducks with a plus-8 rating in six games. Penner has points in two of his last three games (2g/1a), and scored his first goal of the season as part of a multi-point night (1g/1a) on October 10 against the New York Rangers.

Silfverberg Out 4-6 Six weeks with broken right hand.

The injury occurred when he was slashed in the third period of Friday's contest with the Senators. Silfverberg, 23, had seven points (4g/3a) in 11 games at the time of the injury. Silfverberg ranks fourth on the team in scoring and his 35 shots rank second behind Corey Perry (40).

Jakob Silfverberg
Holtby starts for the Capitals.

Holtby has won three straight starts while posting a 1.95 GAA and .948 SV%. He has a great chance to make it four in a row when he gets a second crack at the Flames tonight. Holtby was pulled after he allowed three goals on 11 shots on October 3rd vs. Calgary.

Braden Holtby
Holtby is expected to get the start for the Capitals.

Jason LaBarbera in net for Oilers.

It will be LaBarbera's first start since October 15th when he allowed three goals on 28 shots in a loss to the Penguins. He is 1-2-0 and has a 3.21 GAA and .871 SV%. LaBarbera is probably someone you want to avoid against a Coyotes team who has just one regulation loss in their last eight contests.

Jason LaBarbera
Senators going back with Anderson in goal against Sharks Sunday.

Anderson had his three game winning streak snapped on Friday. He stopped 26 of 28 shots in the loss to the Ducks. He was outplayed by another Andersen, who made his first NHL start. He has a tough matchup vs. the Sharks on Sunday, but either you need stats or you don't on Sunday - your call to start him.
