Nabokov in goal vs. Sabres.

Nabokov allowed three goals on 31 against Nashville on Saturday. He has been solid posting a 2.17 GAA and .927 SV% through four starts. He has a great chance to improve on those numbers tonight against the winless Sabres.

Evgeni Nabokov
James Reimer gets the call for the Leafs.

This will be Reimer's first start since the home opener on October 5th, he was pulled after allowing four goals on 21 shots. Jonathan Bernier has clearly been the better of the two netminders so far, but a good start from Reimer tonight would go a long way.

James Reimer
Mason is your Flyers starter.

Mason allowed two goals on 31 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Coyotes on Friday. He has played very well, but the Flyers are having a tough time scoring. He was given the night off on Saturday so he'll be back in the cage tonight vs. Vancouver. His 2.02 GAA and .935 SV% have the scales tipping in his favour for the Flyers starting gig.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Trevor Smith from Toronto (AHL).

The NHL journeyman has three goals and four assists (seven points) in three games with the Marlies. He played just 5:16 in his only game with the Maple Leafs this season.

Trevor Smith
The Pittsburgh Penguins have recalled forward Harry Zolnierczyk from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Zolnierczyk, 26, has played in three games with WBS, helping the team post a 3-0 record by scoring a club-high (tied) three goals. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Zolnierczyk was acquired by the Penguins from the Anaheim Ducks during the offseason. He split last season between the Anaheim Ducks and Philadelphia Flyers organizations, notching one assist in seven NHL games with the Flyers.

Harry Zolnierczyk
Cam Ward starts vs. Chicago.

Ward allowed three goals on 12 shots after coming in to relieve Anton Khudobin. If Khudobin's injury forces him to miss an extended period of time, Ward will likely start the vast majority of the games going forward. He has a good history against the Blackhawks, but it still isn't a great matchup.

Cam Ward
Klinkhammer promoted to the first line after two goal game.

Klinkhammer scored two goals in 10:33 TOI on the Coyotes fourth line. The solid start to the season for the perennial career fourth liner has earned him a spot on Phoenix's first line. In practice this morning Klinkhammer was skating with Antoine Vermette and Shane Doan. The move likely won't turn him into a serviceable fantasy player, but it could be a good move for the 'Yotes.

Rob Klinkhammer
Jimmy Howard said he's doubtful to start Red Wings game Tuesday against Columbus.

Howard was supposed to start this afternoon but was a late scratch due to a bruised hand. If he can't go tomorrow, expect Jonas Gustavsson to start. Gustavsson made 28 saves in a 3-2 win over the Bruins today, so I think the Red Wings feel comfortable rolling with him tomorrow.

Jimmy Howard
Luongo is expected to get the start tomorrow.

Luongo allowed four goals on 38 shots and was outdone by fellow Canadian netminder Carey Price. His GAA is pushing 3.00 (2.99) and SV% has dipped below .900 (.898). Luongo is typically a slow starter so it isn't time to panic. He has a great matchup against a struggling Flyers offence.

Roberto Luongo
Mason is the Flyers projected starter tomorrow.

Mason allowed two goals on 31 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Coyotes on Friday. He has played very well, but the Flyers are having a tough time scoring. He was given the night off on Saturday so he figures to be back in the cage tomorrow vs. Vancouver. His 2.02 GAA and .935 SV% have the scales tipping in his favour for the Flyers starting gig.

Steve Mason
Varalmov starts Tuesday vs. Dallas.

Varlamov has started four games and allowed one goal in each start. He is 4-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .970 SV%, he will try to continue to shock the fantasy world tomorrow against the Stars. Dallas is forced to start their second or third goalie, so Varly has a good chance to start 5-0.

Semyon Varlamov
Ellis expected to get the start in goal.

Ellis was beat five times on 36 shots in the 5-1 loss to the Wild on Saturday. It wasn't the best first start as a Dallas Star but he will look to bounce back tomorrow in Colorado.
