Rinne starts for the Predators.

Rinne recorded his first win of the season by turning aside 32 of 34 shots in a 3-2 victory over Minnesota. He will face the Maple Leafs, which is never an easy task. Rinne will look to continue trending in the right direction.

Pekka Rinne
Daniel and brother Henrik Sedin will start tonight's game with Mike Santorelli on their right side.

Santorelli was moved there early in the second period in Tuesday's 3-2 OT win over the New Jersey Devils, scored the OT winner and finished the game plus-3. Santorelli skated with the twins in practice Wednesday. “He doesn't make a lot of mistakes and he's scoring goals, too, so he's been a great surprise,” said Daniel of Santorelli. “I mean, I knew he was good but he's been really good. I like his game. He's such a smart player." With Alex Burrows out, Santorelli is getting a shot with the twins. Anyone that plays with the twins definitely gets a boost in fantasy value.

Mike Santorelli
New York Rangers forward Rick Nash will miss the team's next two games due to an apparent head injury suffered in Tuesday's 9-2 blowout loss to the San Jose Sharks.

Nash will be sidelined Thursday night against the Anaheim Ducks and Saturday against the St. Louis Blues, where the Rangers finish up their West Coast trip. He was sent back to New York, according to the team. Nash has a concussion history and missed time last season after a crushing blow from Boston's Milan Lucic sidelined him in February.

Rick Nash
Luongo vs. Niemi in Vancouver.

Luongo was able to beat his former "backup" Cory Schneider on Tuesday. Both netminders played well, Luongo allowed two goals on 23 shots in a 3-2 OT win. Tonight he will face the red-hot Sharks who chased Henrik Lundqvist from the game on Tuesday, ultimately winning 9-2. He allowed four goals on 35 shots in the season opener vs. San Jose.

Roberto Luongo
Niemi starts for the Sharks.

Niemi moved to 3-0-0 with a 18 save performance in a dominant 9-2 win over the Rangers on Tuesday. The Sharks have looked like the NHL's best team in the early part of the season, as a result Niemi has not faced more than 24 shots in a game this season. He will face the Canucks for the second time this year (1 Goal on 22 shots - 4-1 WIN).

Antti Niemi
On Friday, Mason is expected to get the start against the visiting Coyotes.

Mason is off to an impressive start, a 2.02 goals-against average and .935 save percentage; it is a carryover from his strong seven-game stint after the Flyers acquired him late last season from Columbus. Mason will catch the Coyotes on the backend of back-to-back, making him a solid play.

Steve Mason
Joey MacDonald will make his fourth straight start tomorrow.

MacDonald gave up two goals on 35 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Habs. It appears as if MacDonald has topped Karri Ramo for the starting job… At least for the present. He will go head-to-head with Martin Brodeur tomorrow and if the Flames continue to play well, their goalies might become somewhat valuable.

Khabibulin said he's starting tomorrow against Islanders.

Khabibulin will start his first game for Chicago since 2008-09. He went 4-6-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .923 SV% with the Edmonton Oilers last season. He will face an Islanders team who has netted 12 goals in their first three games.

Lundqvist starts for New York.

Lundqvist was pulled on Tuesday vs. the Sharks. After defeating the Kings the night before, 'King Henrik' allowed four goals on 26 shots handing the net over the Martin Biron; who did not far any better (five goals on 21 shots). Although it was a rough start for Lundqvist, you should not worry. He should be back in your lineup tonight vs. Anaheim.

Henrik Lundqvist
Rask starts his third straight game.

Rask has been just as advertised. He has stopped 57 of 59 (.966 SV%) shots that he has faced in his first two starts. He has allowed one goal in each of his starts; both wins. He will face the 3-0-0 Avalanche in a battle of unbeaten squads.

Tuukka Rask
Pavelec gets the call for the fourth straight game.

Pavelec allowed three goals on 34 shots in a loss to the Ducks on Sunday. Pavelec is 2-1-0 now, but has allowed 4, 3 and 3 goals so far. His GAA sits at 3.34 and SV% at .907 - average numbers. He will take on the winless Wild, who will start their backup Josh Harding.

Ondrej Pavelec
Nash who left Tuesday's game after an elbow to the head is expected to miss seven to 10 days.

The Rangers have not announced that he has a concussion, but with his history of concussions; it is likely. Continue to monitor his status as more information is released. Brad Stuart was suspended three games as a result of the hit he delivered.
