It doesn't sound like there's any chance that Thomas plays tomorrow, but monitor his status on Wednesday.

Nash missed the last two games with a concussion and is questionable for Wednesday's game after not participating in practice.

Niklas Backstrom is out with a knee injury so Kuemper gets called up to backup Josh Harding. The WIld have back-to-back games tonight and tomorrow, so Kuemper could get the start tomorrow.

With Anton Khudobin landing on IR with a lower-body injury, Carolina will call Peters up to backup Cam Ward. Peters is 1-0-0 with a 2.00 GAA and .941 SV% in one start in the AHL.

Crawford allowed one goal on 29 shots in a 2-1 win over the Sabres on Saturday. It will be his fifth start in six games, he is 2-1-1 with a 2.45 GAA and .910 SV%.

Howard hurt his hand on a shot in the Philadelphia game on Saturday. He thought that he would be able to play today, but was scratched after warmups.

Jimmy Howard was scheduled to start, but was a late scratch after warmups with a bruised hand.

Rome had no goals and five assists in 27 games with Dallas last season. He will be a sixth or extra defenseman once he returns to Dallas.
There is no timetable for Lehtonen's return, but Dan Ellis and Jack Campbell will take over in the Stars crease in the meantime.

As soon as Smith was moved to a line with Patrice Bergeron and Loui Eriksson he recorded an assist on his first shift. He had just nine points in 37 games with the Stars last season, so he might not become a fantasy option. However, he is worth keeping an eye on him when he is playing with players as skilled as Eriksson and Bergeron.

Marchand has one goal in four games and will skate with Jordan Caron and Chris Kelly.

Since Niklas Backstrom has been sidelined, Harding has won each of his two starts. He has only allowed the opposition to score one goal in each start. Harding has a 1.07 GAA and .944 SV% so far, and against a bad Sabres team he should make for a great start tonight.
Biron is 0-1-0 with a 7.65 GAA and .763 SV% in two appearances.
Asham has no points and a minus-3 rating in three games.
Erskine will miss his second straight game tonight but could return on Wednesday. He usually doesn't reach double digits in points, so he is not a fantasy asset.
Ruutu played 10:28 in his return to the Hurricanes lineup last night. He didn't record a point and was a minus-1. A move to the top-line definitely boosts his fantasy value and makes him a potential 20-goal scorer if he can stay healthy.

Letang could return to the Pens blueline tomorrow vs. Edmonton. He continues to participate in practice which means he is nearing a return, consider him questionable until you hear otherwise.

Rask has held the opposition to one goal in each of his four starts. He sits a 3-1-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .965 SV%; he has proven that he is definitely among the fantasy elite. He will face the Wings for the second time in 10 days. He stopped 25 of 26 in a 4-1 win on October 5th.

This is positive news for Bishop's fantasy owners. He could be back in the cage tomorrow vs. Los Angeles.

Khudobin left yesterday's game after 29:52 when he tried to play the puck. The Hurricanes are expected to call up Justin Peters to backup Cam Ward.
