This is a huge game between the Flyers and Islanders as they both battle for the last playoff spot. It isn't too bad of a matchup for Nabokov and with the importance of the game, he might make for a decent start.
Zetterberg has left practice early.
Zetterberg missed two games at the start of April because of a groin issue. We will get an injury update following practice.
Ilya Kovalchuk is on the ice.
Kovalchuk has missed the Devils last seven games with a shoulder injury. New Jersey has struggled without him in the lineup. He is firing light wrist-shots at Brodeur so he clearly is not ready to go yet, but it is a positive sign.
Erik Karlsson is on the ice again today at Bell Sensplex.
Karlsson skated yesterday for the firs time since getting his achilles sliced. He is still likely to miss the rest of the regular season, but you never know. This is an incredible recovery and he should at least be back for a Senators playoff run. If you have an empty roster spot, why not stash him and hope he returns in time for you to be in the Fantasy Finals.
Letang is the last player to step onto the ice for the Penguins' game-day skate.
Letang is on the ice with his teammates right now but is taking line-rushes on the 4th D-pairing, which would suggest he won't play tonight. Coach Bylsma will likely give an update on Letang following practice.
