Varlamov was given two nights off in favor of J.S Giguere. He will get the call tonight against the Coyotes. He is 0-0-1 with a 2.81 GAA and .900 SV% vs. Phoenix this season. He is still looking for his first win on the road this season (0-12-2, 2.81 GAA, .900 SV%).
Glencross won't be in the lineup Saturday against the Canucks. Word is he has a leg injury.
Call-up Max Reinhart will take his place in the lineup.

Red Wings recall Riley Sheahan from Grand Rapids
Wings coach Mike Babcock mentioned last week that he wanted to have a look at forward Riley Sheahan. He may get his chance Sunday. Sheahan was recalled from Grand Rapids on Saturday. He has 16 goals and 19 assists in 67 games with the Griffins this season.

Jensen has been sent down to the AHL.
Jensen had no points and was a minus-1 in two games with the Canucks.
Canucks associate coach Rick Bowness, confirmed that both Mason Raymond and Dale Weise will be back in the lineup.
Weise had missed the last six games also with a shoulder ailment. Weise will skate on a unit with Tom Sestito and Maxim Lapierre. Steven Pinizzoto will be a healthy scratch with Weise coming back.
Canucks associate coach Rick Bowness, confirmed that both Mason Raymond and Dale Weise will be back in the lineup.
Raymond has missed the last two games with a shoulder injury. Raymond will slide back onto a line alongside Andrew Ebbett and Zack Kassian, taking the place of Nicklas Jensen who was sent back to Chicago (AHL) yesterday.
“Ryan didn’t have any setback. He’s day-to-day,” said head coach Bruce Boudreau on the status of Ryan Getzlaf, who missed last night’s game with a lower body injury sustained in the third period of the April 3rd game against Dallas.
Getzlaf is questionable for tomorrow's game with the Kings.
Line Change
Franzen was moved to center on the Red Wings second line Friday against the Avs.
Babcock paired Pavel Datsyuk and Henrik Zetterberg together in an effort to energize the team following Thursday's 4-2 loss at Phoenix. He had Franzen center the second line with Valtteri Filppula and Gustav Nyquist. Franzen won 8-of-13 faceoffs,

Leafs have taken Leo Komarov off of IR and he's expected to play Saturday.

The Wild will be without Dany Heatley on Sunday in Columbus. Heatley's injury is not a wrist, by the way, but we'll stick with upper body.
The guess is he'll be out at least a week or more. He did make the trip from California with the team for treatment but coach Mike Yeo said the Wild may send him home to see the doc.
Cullen will not play Sunday against Columbus.
Cullen has been home with his lower body injury and Yeo hopes he'll be close to a return when the Wild gets back to Minnesota.

Quick led the Kings onto the ice for warmups.
Quick has lost each of his last two starts with a 2.90 GAA and .898 SV%. He has not been the same goalie this year as he was last season. He is ranked 24th GAA (2.54), 41st in SV% (.896) and 23rd in wins (12). He has a dangerous matchup vs. a skilled Oilers team today.

Dubnyk has won four straight appearances entering play today. It will be tough for him to push that to five as he faces the Kings.

Mark Giordano is back.
Giordano missed the Flames last game because he was with his wife while she gave birth to a new baby boy. Anton Babchuk will likely be scratched in favor of Giordano.
Curtis Glencross questionable after last night.
There is no word on what is ailing Glenncross but monitor his status prior to tonight's game.

Kiprusoff plays back to back. He was great in SJ. #Flames
Kiprusoff allowed just two goals on 41 shots but still got the loss yesterday vs. the Sharks. The Flames are not a very good team which severely handicaps Kipper's fantasy value.
